Advance Praise

"After reading this book once I felt compelled to read it again, most books I read I don't read a second time. The fact that this book is based on a true story and is not full of violence intrigued me. Most stories like this have the victim striking back using violence and revenge, this one does not. This story has left me thinking about self reassessment and left me feeling good about my challenges and my life. I hope there is a sequel, I would love to know how they are now."

An interesting take on self-help. Engaging from the first page. I found it unlike any book I've ever read! Still thinking about it now. A book that stays with you.

The author’s life changes when his wife dies unexpectedly. They move into the family summer cottage as living in the home was too hard as they found themselves “stuck.” When they run into financial problems that he can’t fix, the author feels truly stressed. Luckily, he has two friends Thaddeus and Christopher. They come to him when he is sitting under the apple tree. Somehow sitting under the apple tree, anyone and everyone feels free to come and visit. Fortunately Thaddeus and Christopher share their wisdom with him. He doesn’t always understand it first but eventually does. Will the author be able to change his life from depression to positivity?

The author has written an excellent book that gives us a peek into his life. It is an a quick read but I find that I won’t forget it when I need some inspiration!
