Description
A visit to the coastal Oregon town where her brother is a lighthouse keeper opens Gala Pedersdotter to the wider world. So much so that she dreads returning to the family dairy farm in the eastern part of the state. Between Two Beaus is an excellent story I really enjoyed! My only complaint is that it is too short! The story was interesting and I enjoyed the ending! Gala has a crush on Hal, but Bork has a crush on Gala. Bork asks her to be his pretend fiancee, while his parents come for a visit, and she agrees. While they visit, his mother is very insulting to her, and she leaves. While walking home, she is attacked, and she isn't sure what it means as far as Bork will view her. When he finds out he is furious, but he still loves her. Through all of this, she realizes how much she really loves Bork. Great story, just way too short!
