Description
Self-love lies at the core of a person’s identity. Without it, we lose ourselves.
Without self-love life becomes a bit meaningless, as the protagonist of our own story is not really there. While the story might look good, it probably won’t feel good. We get by temporarily as long as other people approve of us and our story, but the moment this approval is withdrawn, our achievements don’t mean a thing anymore.
This dependency on other people’s approval is dangerous.
– Self-love gives us the stability to trust ourselves—to act from a solid foundation.
– Self-love gives us a clear direction. We know what we want, we know where we are going, and we know we are worth it.
– Self-love gives us better social skills. Loving ourselves makes us authentic – we don’t feel the need to pretend we are something we’re not. This creates trust and good relationships.
– Self-love gives us less internal resistance. Our personality has less split off parts lurking in the unconscious, ready to sabotage our actions. We become deeply connected to ourselves.
THIS booklet gives you practical tools to strengthen your self-love by
– being honest to yourself and others,
– being loyal to yourself,
– listening to your body,
– talking to yourself in a gentle way and
– creating your own life-story based on what is true and important to you.

"""A really good book about the essential principles of self-love, and practical steps to live with it.""
- Henrik Mathisen, Norway
""Coming home"" is by far the most practical, simple and effective book that I have ever read on self-love. It brings clarity in all aspects one might need to understand what actually self-love is. And can be used as toolkit for self reflection in daily life. It's helping me to reflect on my thought patterns and cultivate a positive self dialogue within myself. Highly recommended!

I find this short self-help book quite practical and useful.
First of all, it's short.
The language is pretty simple, easy to get into and, at the most, urgent and relatable.
I find the tips quite practical and we can start practicing any of these tips right away.
I love the ways the author give choices at how we can do to practice self-love alongwith his experiences; what works for him and what we can do to find our own ways to make our own self-love methods work for different people.
Love this book.
Thank you, author and publisher, for the copy.
Light and peaceful, one book that I enjoyed reading through. It makes you think but it is one that is able to be a perfect gift for anyone of any age.
This incredible book about self-love is a must read for you. Most of us could stand to give herself a break and love ourselves more. I highly recommend this book
This is a nice little introductory guide to self-love. It is short and sweet, and Seyffarth gives some practical suggestions that can help you cultivate self-love for a fuller, happier life.
Beautifully written and laid out. Self hope, self love, anxiety and depression mixed with self doubt. I felt like this book was speaking to me and for me. It was so beautifully written and resonated to my core. Highly recommend. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This book is short but I found every sentence profound and useful. This is a great pick-me-up if you're having a rough week and want a couple of moments of inspiration. I plan on re-reading this in the future and will recommend to friends.
This is a short, easy read. I can’t say I really felt like I learnt a lot from this self-help book, but it’s probably aimed at the younger generation for help with self-acceptance.
Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.
I love the gentle tone the author carries throughout the book. Instead of telling the reader that they shouldn't think in a certain way, the author gently explains why one might think that way and ways to think differently. The author seems to speak from experience and lays out steps for an individual to take in order to positively change themselves. I loved it and it seems like it would be useful at many points in one's life.
