Keep My Secrets

Fast paced thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat until the last page. I completely identified with the main character and was rooting for her the entire time. This is such a well told story.

Frankie Turner Is hiding secrets! This book.was really an awesome quick thriller. I loved how easy this book was to breeze through. The plot was was amazing. And the characters were great! The book.is written well with great amount of twist.

Fantastically twisty and a fast paced compelling read. Just as you think you have an understanding of what’s going on then the goalposts change again. The surprises keep on coming and your loyalties keep changing.
Fascinating characters with hazy pasts and plenty of secrets to unearth, bit by bit. Definitely one to recommend, I almost want to read it again from the start now that I know what I know. I certainly didn’t guess any part of the ending.

Frankie Turner had a rough start to life...growing up in care, fighting with other girls in school, drugs. But when she met older Martin Jarvis she thought she had found her soul mate and the key to her future. What follows leads to Frankie's worst nightmare and 15 years later that nightmare resurfaces.

It's been a long time since characters in a book have made me think out them when I wasn't actually reading but Elena Wilkes has a way of writing that makes you connect with them. The flow was nicely paced with very little dragging sections and definitely followed through with the promised plot twists. While I didn't really agree with some of the decisions Frankie made and why she made them didn't always make sense, I guess as with real life you don't know what you would do unless you were in that situation.

The ending came as a COMPLETE surprise leaving me with my jaw hanging and that also has not happened in a long time.

I found this book really gripping from the start. Didn't predict the ending at all was so many wee twists and turns that grabbed your attention and made you want to keep reading.
I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes thrillers!

Frankie Turner has tried to leave her troubled past behind. 15 years later, all the secrets and lies start to bubble up and threaten the life she has built since then. When she starts to receive notes and feel like she’s being watched, it brings new information comes to light and she has to find out what really happened that night. Who is telling the truth and who is hiding even more secrets than Frankie herself?

Very fast paced and thrilling!

Frankie has worked hard to conceal her past and start over. But someone is resurrecting memories and secrets from long ago. Frankie’s marriage is already rocky, and she’s fighting like crazy to keep the past buried from her husband. Who is trying to bring down Frankie and why? With most of the characters being a bit unlikeable and shady, the suspect pool seems to be compounding.

The author does a great job alternating the narrative between Frankie’s life “Now” and “Then”. This helps us understand where Frankie came from and the unfortunate circumstances that caused her to want to start fresh. By the end, the past and present narratives merge together to create a suspenseful finale of events. There are plenty of twists that will keep your alliances shifting, but when the veil is lifted, the ending is quite surprising. While one of my suspicions turned out right, the ending still blindsided me (in a good way).
