This book was just wow. It wasn't what I was expecting at all. So much emotion wrapped in this teeny tiny book that is perfectly disguised to make you think it will be a cute little romcom.
Holy hell this isn't a romcom. It is bittersweet and angsty. It made me laugh a bit and cry more. These two characters are so misguided and misunderstood, but so genuinely in love so many years later in spite of heartbreak at one another's hand. And Lord knows I am a sucker for second chance romance. I can't even explain how good this book was without giving it away. I thought I was really into dark romance but after this book, I think I'm sold for romcoms. Return to Summer was a refreshing mix of laughter, heat, and romance. This second chance at romance was just what I needed after a long day of work. I found myself looking forward to reading every night. I fell in love with Graison the moment I met him behind that bar. Summer on the other hand is so feisty and independent. The right mixture of sweet and spicy, heat and romance is just what is needed on a hot Summer day.
