This is the third Grumpy The Iguana book I have read (well listened to). I think this one should have been the first I listened to, whoops!

This story tells us how Grumpy The Iguana became grumpy. Iguana was always happy until one day after finding his house (a tree) gone, causing him to become extremly grumpy. One day he meets The Green Parrot who leads him to a new tree to make his home. This tree turns out to be where Green Parrot lives.

A sweet story about making new friends, sharing and of course look after our environment which seems to be a common theme in these books.

This is the second audiobook about Grumpy the Iguana that I’ve listened to. This one is about the benefits of friendships and having a home and routine abs how having these turns a iguana into a happy one. Once again, the read is enjoyable for a younger audience and contains themes that children learn about as they go through childhood. Nicely done. The narrator’s voice is appealing too.
