I received The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book as part of a NetGalley giveaway.

Disney parks are famous for their food and drinks--some are delicious, some nostalgic, and some creative (and many a combination of some or all of these!). The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book tackles some favorites from the parks' iconic themed lands, from Adventureland to Galaxy's Edge.

As a huge Disney parks fan, I was excited to win this book. Despite the perception (and reality) of the parks being family-centric, my husband and I have always loved visiting on our own, and the opportunity to try out the resorts' various themed drinks is always fun. Surprisingly, only one chapter is actually devoted to cocktails, with other sections reserved for hot drinks, mocktails, and shakes/dessert drinks, among other things. Obviously, there are ways to "adultify" most of these virgin recipes, but on the whole it's a very accessible and family-friendly. Our next park trip is less than a month away, and this one helped ramp up my excitement for the fun and goodies in store!

It's been many years since I was at Disney, so there are some items here that I never saw at the park. I vividly recall their food and drink. So creative and memorable! I was excited to see this book, which gives fans the chance to have some of those famous recipes. There are a number of recipes included, and it's a very family friendly book. I look forward to trying many of them.

This was a cute cookbook. I honestly believe holding a physical cookbook is different than digital as the pages aren't as seemless but that would be my only complaint.

I made Black Spire Hot Chocolate and Dagobah Slug Slinger (my husband is a huge Star Wars fan) and both were delicious! We don't know when we will be able to experience Star Wars at a Disney park so it was cool to have that at home!

There were a lot of frozen, sweet drinks which I know Disney is known for. I looked at the pictures but wasn't interested in making them. I liked the idea of the adult cocktails but they were super complex and I didn't want to make all the extra syrups. If you love mixology this is the book for you!

Ashley Craft has done it again! Having loved The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook, the Drink Recipe Book was number one on my reading list. It did not disappoint.

Once again, I was drawn to the Parks history Craft added to the beginning of the book and the park maps made me long to book another trip. Any Disney fan looking to add that little bit of at-home pixie dust will want this book. The photographs are gorgeous--they look just like the "real" thing from any Disney restaurant.

There's a variety of choices here, ranging from alcohol free (including the popular Le Fou's Brew and Blue Milk) to adult cocktails, and hot beverages and dessert drinks (think all those yummy milkshakes!), and though some of the ingredients will be tricky to get, I'm excited to try them all.

Thank you so much to Abrams Media for providing a copy of this ARC for review. It was as magical as its predecessor!

Ashley Craft, author of The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook has worked her magic again with The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book. Now you can curl up in a comfortable chair and transport yourself to all things Disney with the taste of the drink in your hand.

The first part is a history of “Drinking around Disney World” Did you know that Walt Disney did not want alcohol served in his park and that ban held for 64 years until alcoholic drinks were first served in Epcot? This section also lists the essential equipment you’ll need for these recipes and tells how to concoct an assortment of simple syrups.

Then come the drink recipes. Accompanied by gorgeous, mouth-watering photographs, they are organized by park sections and drink categories. You’ll find lemonades, slushes, mocktails and cocktails, coffee drinks and more. My favorites are Cotton Candy Lemonade, Elf Nog, Diving Bell (with Mickey ears made of lemon slices) but one drink stands out. Perfect for children of all ages, My Bugs! My Bugs! Is garnished with gummy worms which appear to be crawling out of the electric coral drink!

Recipes from other Disney Parks are included: Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and California Adventure. There are maps showing where the individual drinks are served The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book is just delicious. Grab a glass and enjoy! 5 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley, Adams Media and Ashley Craft for this ARC.

What a fun book! Definitely one will pull off a bookstore shelf to look through and of course after seeing all the temptations, will purchase! Mary Poppins could have provided the blurb, “just a spoonful of sugar” as most of these beverages are sweet - but don’t we all deserve a little treat now and then?
Those who love all things Disney will be sure to add this to their collection.
Also is overflowing with creative mocktail recipes!
As someone who loves to cook and create memorable beverages the apple cider recipes and beverages for dessert will be first on my list to try! Happy Sipping!

I love these books! So many awesome recipes and tidbits about the Disney parks that make me excited to bring some Disney food and magic into my home. I seriously adore these cookbooks and I'm so excited to try making some of these for myself.

First of all: Thank you to Netgalley for providing me the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

The book has lots and lots of drinks, dessert drinks, mocktails, cocktails, slushies and more. I tried some and they were great, though some of them had ingredients that aren't easy to find. But the recipes were simple and the small blurb at the beginning of each was a nice touch. Another sweet factor was the introduction to the history of the parks and Disney. The pages were beautifully decorated as well and the photos were clear and pretty, though not as many as I would have liked.

Overall, a nice book with interesting recipes.

The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book by Ashley Craft is the book we have been waiting for! I love everything about it. So many recipes for every drink you could want. Coffees, iced drinks, and cocktails galore! If I had to say anything negative it would be that I wish there were more pictures. This is a great guide to making lots of your favorite Disney drinks when you can’t be at the parks.

Thank you to NetGalley and Adams Media for the opportunity to read this book for an honest review.

If you’ve ever been to Disney on holiday you will remember the drinks from the various carts and food outlets.
This book gives you the recipes needed to recreate those memorable refreshments. Easy to follow recipes and a description of where the drink was found in the parks.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to see an arc

While Disney is open again, that doesn’t mean that everyone is willing to head there right now. We’re not, so I thought this would be a great way to bring a little flavor of the parks home. While I was hoping for the Tropical Mimosa from Disney’ World, no such luck in this book. But there are so many other great recipes that I will be busy trying them out when my daughter is here. A great book for Disney lovers!

This made me want to hop on a plane to the happiest place on earth! I loved reading through this. I especially loved the additional tidbits of history and the additional disney parks fun facts. Some drinks are very unique and some are simple and tasty!! I will definitely be adding the hard copy of this to my other unofficial cookbooks! A fun and whimsical and MAGICAL 5 stars from me:)

Very nice book! I don't usually get the drinks at Disney as much as the snacks and other food but I enjoyed reading these recipes. They're copycats of the drinks you can find around all the Disney properties (parks and resorts). The drinks are very fun and colorful and they all look very appealing. A great gift option for Disney fans.

The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book is a Disney inspired drinks book with recipes developed by Ashley Craft. Due out 5th Oct 2021 from Simon & Schuster on their Adams Media imprint, it's 224 pages and will be available in hardcover and ebook formats.

What an exuberant and fun book full of creatively concocted drinks. The layout is easy to understand and the drinks themselves are colorful and inventive. The introduction includes a lot of background info (including some neat trivia about themes and concession placements at Disney parks, origins and inspirations for drinks and other facilities, and a little history. The author has included a good beginner primer on bar tools and supplies. The drinks recipes (and there are a plethora) are arranged thematically: lemonades & fruity drinks, slushes, coffee tea hot chocolate & ciders, mocktails, cocktails, and dessert drinks.

Recipes have an introduction and explanation including some history, ingredients in a bullet point list, followed by step by step mixing directions. Ingredients are given with American standard measurements only (no metric). The ingredients will mostly be accessible at any well stocked grocery store ( -or liquor store for the boozy ingredients), although there are some ingredients which are more exotic and will require more diligence to acquire (such as dry ice). The drinks as pictured in the book are photographed in Disney proprietary glassware, though the author lists alternative presentations and serving suggestions. Roughly 25-30% of the drinks are accompanied by color photos.

There are a lot of very attractive recipes included here and the author has even included extensive colorful maps in an appendix, showing the locations of vendors in Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and others. It would take a concerted effort to visit all of the theme parks and try all the drinks, but now it's easy to make them at home.

Five stars. Definitely one for the foodies.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.

Yes! Finally a book on disney park drinks that I can taste and savor! Being from Hawaii, travel is expensive on top of an already expensive Disney vacation so this is perfect!

This has been the most fun recipe book I've gone through, maybe ever. If you want a taste of Disney Parks, either for nostalgia's sake, or for pretending you're on vacation, then you need to pick up this book! It is very accessible, and offers plenty of drink options from seasonal to every day, mocktails to cocktails, and hot chocolate to fancy milkshakes. There's bound to be something in here you like. A lot of the recipes have similar base ingredients, like pineapple juice or coconut cream, so with a few ingredients you can conquer a lot of recipes. On the flip side, a lot of recipes have very specific ingredients, like flavored syrups that you'll likely either have to buy special or make yourselves-which I think is still worth it when you find the drinks you like!

I've tried about 10 of the recipes so far and they've all been fantastic, with some favorites being the Lava Smoothie, Sultan's Colada, Kiama Mama, Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake, and the Hyperdrive. The coolest part of the book is that Craft tells you where you would find each of these drinks on the Disney properties, and there are even maps at the end that highlight exactly where.

Highly recommend if you're a Disney fan of any sort, like to try new recipes, are looking for something fun to do and make with your friends or family, or want to pretend you're on a fun vacation.

Thanks to Netgalley and Adams Media for the e-ARC.

This is a pretty cool collection of drinks that would be great for small get togethers and parties. I also liked that it had a map of places at the park to find them. Can't wait to try some of these.

I really enjoyed this book. I am a big Disney fan and this book was a lot of fun. It had recipes for every Disney drink I could think of and then some. I will definitely be purchasing this book for myself, as well as my friends who are Disney fans too!

I have been to both Disney World and Disneyland, and have plans to go to Disneyland Paris in December, so I absolutely love Disney parks and everything you can do them including all of the creative food and drinks, What I really liked about this book is that it also included drink recipes from the Disney Resorts, so there are an abundance of options to choose from when you can't be at a Disney Park or Resort. There were so many drinks that I haven't been able to try that I will be able to make at home, and also that I will be on the look out for the next time I am in Orlando or Anaheim!

I requested this book because I’ve loved Disney cookbooks as gifts for friends and wanted to see if this one was worth while.

Overall, I expected there to be significantly more in the way of cocktails, but it would be easy enough to add (or remove) alcohol from any of the recipes.

The early section has a number of fun syrups that I’ll definitely want to add to my rotation. Overall, this seems like a great cookbook for Disney lovers and I plan to purchase once it is available.

The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book by Ashley Craft is an amazing cookbook. The drinks are organized into six parts: lemonades/fruity drinks, slushes, coffee/tea/hot chocolate/cider, mocktails, cocktails, and dessert drinks. There are drinks for every age and for every preference it is easy to find the recipes you want. Some of the drinks have ingredients that are slightly hard to find, which is not the author’s fault, but once you have the ingredients the recipes are also easy to follow. Most of the recipes have beautiful photos that accompany the recipes.

Craft’s Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook already holds a special spot in my kitchen. I can’t wait to be able to buy a hardcopy of this cookbook to add to my collection.

Thank you to NetGalley and Adams Media for the opportunity to read this book for an honest opinion.

This book was so fun! I love the little bits of Disney trivia interspersed throughout the book. I also really appreciated that the author listed where each drink could be procured at the park, and had maps at the end! IT was really thoughtfully laid out.

Some of the recipes involved making something from a previous recipe in the book, and those just struck me as a bit too labor and time intensive for the at-home chef. Maybe if you were making a big batch for a group, but to just make one drink...not so much.

Overall the photos were great and there were plenty of helpful tips and tricks listed. It would be a great gift for any Disney park enthusiast! Or even for a family with kids who are looking for fun new mocktails.

If you love Disney Theme Parks drinks, this is the cookbook for you! It has a huge variety of drink recipes. The recipes are simple to follow and the pictures of some of the drinks are gorgeous. I liked how there was also some background information before each drink recipe as well. Some of the recipes call for an ice cream machine, which I do not own, so that was a little disappointing. Overall, it’s a splendid little cookbook. Thanks to Netgalley and the Publisher for a copy of the arc in return for an honest review.

THANK YOU Adams Media for the ARC to read and review.

Well, I didn't think you could top the Unofficial Disney Cookbook, but I was wrong. I felt quite giddy when I saw The Unofficial Disney Park Drink Recipe Book was available for preview. I have been trying to perfect the Jedi Mind Trick cocktail from Oga's Cantina for a while now with internet recipes. Guess what's in this book. Uh Huh! Jedi mind trick. Did I make it immediately? Yes. Is it really good? You betcha!

This book is for Disney mega foodie fans. There is a short history of food and drink in Disney Parks that is excellent. A supply list is noted for everything needed for the kitchen and pantry to make these drinks.

I was pleased to see that the majority of these drink recipes are non alcoholic and span all Disney parks worldwide.

This book was a page turner from beginning to end. Do you want a taste of Disneyland without making the trek? This book is amazing. It will allow you the ability to make amazing drinks in the comfort of your home, and maybe even play with some modifications depending on your dietary needs! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Thanks to NetGalley and Adams Media for the digital copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. In times of pandemic one way to travel without leaving the house is through food and beverages. This book is great to transport you (back) to Disney. The book's layout is beautiful. It has beautiful pictures of some of the drinks. It covers from cocktails to dessert drinks, so there's something for everyone's taste. I also loved they included a standard US/Metric measurement conversion table, that will definitely be very useful to me. Now I must check out The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook.

Amazing!! I have the cookbook and now I’m obsessed with the drink recipes!! There is an AWESOME mix from all over the parts. I especially like all the new Star Wars drinks (blue milk whaaaat)?! It’s nostalgia and memories of Disney without leaving the comfort of your home. You may not be able to afford the new annual passes, so this book is perhaps a much more affordable option! Can’t totally erase the ambiance of the Parks, but this recipe books comes close! Laid out nicely, easy to read, definitely recommend! I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

I'm a big cocktail buff and a sucker for all things Disney, so this book was right up my alley. It gave me terrific ideas for creating non-alcoholic drinks too. Pictures were bright and attractive. (The only con is that not everyone could probably afford to get all of the cocktail accessories at once.) Fabulous ideas, though!

A great, comprehensive book with delicious recipes. Some of these are easy, and some are quite complex. The recipes are easy to follow, and the book does a good job of giving the syrups, etc at the beginning of the book. Most times, the recipe will call for a syrup that you have already made in advance. I love that the book ended with an index of drink as they correspond to the park maps. This is really helpful as my family is planning a park trip next month.

I admit I never reviewed a recipe book and it was great fun! I live near Disney World and now I know how to mix some of my favorite drinks. Love that Ashley tells you how to make the various syrup is right in that beginning of the book. Also the background history was interesting and not long winded. One does want to learn how to mixed the drinks, right! Now the problem is which one to try after I make the Dole whip, The pictures are a great visual aid, but maybe a few more would nice.
Thank you NetGalley for this ARC. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story.

I can’t recommend this book enough. I love this book. It has recipes for drinks that are served at most Disney Parks and some of their Resorts and at Epcot. It has drink recipes from a Cinderella Latte to Canadian Apple Slushy and with or without alcohol. The book tells which ride or area the drinks are from and also in the back it has a map listing where you can find the drink. Again I would highly recommend picking this one up you will definitely impress your friends.😊

This is a fun book. I enjoyed making the moon milks and am making a few others to share with Disney obsessed coworkers at our next in office retreat. I appreciate that the majority of these recipes are non-alcoholic. They would be great to serve at a baby shower or at any party where you will have kids and non drinkers. Many are very very sweet. I'm not sure how similar they taste to the "real thing" but everything we tried was tasty and relatively easy. You don't need major cooking skills to make many of these. There are a few that require additional baking/cooking skills, but are mostly in the dessert drinks chapter. You will need some odd ingredients that can be easily sourced through Amazon or through your local coffee shop. Overall a fun book that I will use at least 2x a year.

How I wish to taste every single drink in this book! I truly love this kind of subjects about Disney Parks(Wich is one of my dream travel) and I'm looking foward to try some of these recipes in here! Good Job, guys!

I’m a huge Disney parks fan and love how these books are coming out! I will say I was skeptical of this book because my husband and I do not drink but most of the drinks do not feature alcohol or have non alcoholic versions. I was pleasantly surprised by this! My biggest struggle with this book is knowing how some specialty syrups and items may be needed to make our favorite drinks and we are the kind of family that doesn’t have most of these around and also has limited stores around us to find different syrups and special items. That was my biggest struggle with this cook book but it is definitely fun for anyone who enjoys drinks at Disney! It’s also good to remember that this is an unofficial cook book.I really appreciated the history added to the front part of the book.

Thank you Net Galley for the opportunity to review this book!

I love traveling and visiting the Disney Parks especially for the food and drinks. This cookbook does not disappoint because after you've been to the parks and you've found that drink you love, most likely you won't be able to enjoy until your next visit. For me I have made several different drinks out of this book with my most recent one being the Cinderella Latte. I made it yesterday and it was absolutely amazing! I believe the next one I'd like to try is the Peter Pan Float which is a favorite for me inside Magic Kingdom. I highly recommend this book if you too have that favorite drink and you want to recreate it at home until your next trip.

I really enjoyed this book of unofficial Disney drink recipes. The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book by Ashley Craft had more drinks than I could possibly imagine.

It started off with the history of drinks and alcohol at the Disney parks. At first, I did not think it would be that exciting, but it was actually quite fascinating.

I loved that it included recipes for all the different kinds of syrups. Something I have always been fascinated by, but I have never made. Then there was a great selection of all the different drinks that Disney has to offer. Honestly, there were so many I had never heard of and I thought I will have to hunt them down the next time I am at Disney World. I am excited to be able to recreate so many of the drinks I love in the comfort of my own home, and of course a fraction of the price.

As with most cookbooks or similar books that I review, I always wish there were a lot more photos.

I think I would prefer a hard copy of this book, and I do plan on buying myself a copy.

I received an eARC from Adams Media through NetGalley. All opinions are 100% my own.

What a delightful recipe book to bring a little bit of Disney magic back home! With the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World this year, I anticipate that this title will fly off the shelves. The drink recipes in this book bring back happy memories of my times in the park and I know they will help park lovers reminisce, as well. I know Disney is family-friendly, but as a lover of adult beverages, I would have loved the addition of tips for what adult libation should be added for extra pixie dust magic.

We love Disney Parks! Trying all the different food and drinks is an experience! This book will give you drink recipes to recreate some of the awesome drinks you can get in the parks. I loved how easy the recipes were to follow and I appreciated the description of where the drinks could be found in the parks.

Of the many iconic things about Disney Parks, drinks and cocktails are some of my favorite things to explore. To me, there is nothing better than relaxing in a themed Disney space with a drink (Trader Sam's to be specific) after a long day at the Parks. So imagine my delight in being able to review The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book, releasing October 2021 from Adams Media!

Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book starts off with a bit of history of alcohol in the Disney Parks. In an effort to keep out the "rowdy element," Walt Disney didn't allow Disneyland to sell alcohol. For sixty-four years this rule was in place until Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opened. Oga's Cantina is the one place that sells alcohol in Disneyland (other than Club 33.)

The book also gives a quick summary of some of the items you will need access to in order to craft the many drinks in the cookbook. Items like a blender, cocktail shaker, candy molds and various syrups. The syrup section has the recipes to create agave, black raspberry, hibiscus, ginger, mint syrups including a basic simple syrup recipe.

The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book has a good mix of cocktails, juice recipes, slushies, shakes (including those from Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes), smoothies and includes fun tidbits like how Epcot's Jungle Juice is a basic POG (passion fruit, orange and guava) concoction. I was happy to see the recipe for the Uh Oa! and the description of how much it is an experience in addition to being a drink!

Photos can make or break a cookbook and the photos from The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book are gorgeous! There are several ideas on how to dress drinks up with Disney flare and there is a wide range of cups and mugs shown for styling options.

The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book also comes with a Disney Parks map that shows where the drink locations are which can be really handy for those that go to the Parks often! The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book is a great Christmas gift or gift for any Disney foodie fan who likes to recreate Disney recipes at home.

The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book

This book has some of the wildest recipes you will ever make! The first part of the book lists the syrups you will need to prepare in order to enjoy these drinks and the tools you will need to make them!
You will be making syrups with Kool-Aid, grenadine, orange juice, apples, strawberries, dried flowers and a host of other ingredients. You will be making smoothies, juices, fizzy drinks, and even drinks that look like sunrises and thick candy covered shakes.
Most of the drinks are named after rides, events and characters at Disney World, Epcot and Disneyland so you will recognize them, you can even order the real thing if you visit there!
There is a Coke Float that was served in Toy Story land that has coke and simple syrup that is mixed with frozen ice cubes into a slushy mixture, a Black Spire hot chocolate that uses milk, cocoa powder, and sugar that is topped with whipped cream, and a Blue Bantha drink with a huge buttery coconut cookie perched over blue milk made with passion fruit, coconut milk and pineapple juice.
You can enjoy dessert drinks such as the Black Forest Milkshake made with ice cream, whipped cream, milk, and a dark chocolate sauce, or the Brooklyn Blackout a chocolate bombshell with chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, chocolate frosting, and a brownie.
There is even a map included to show you where you can sample these and many other delicious drinks at your favorite theme park!

OK, this is a case of bad timing. One week after visiting Disneyland in Anaheim, I started reading “The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book” by Ashley Craft. Had I only started this a couple of weeks earlier, some of our plans and meals would have been much different (I would have definitely visited the Disneyland Hotel, for one!).

Having enjoyed Ms. Craft’s previous cookbook, “The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook”, I knew what to expect and how to approach the book (hence the similar review). Ms. Craft presents a bit of history of drinks at the parks (interesting on how alcohol was treated), but then gets into the good stuff – how to replicate some of the special drinks at home.

The recipes range from the overly simple to the somewhat complex to the crazy complex. The main complaint is probably the wide variety of ingredients that are either difficult to find/make, or that are so specialized that you would probably never use them up. Heavy emphasis is on flavored syrups.

And having just experienced Oga’s Cantina at Disneyland for the first time, I am super excited that I can make the drinks we enjoyed (especially the Fuzzy Tauntaun) and our daughter can reuse her souvenir Porg mug!

I requested and received a free advanced electronic copy from Adams Media via NetGalley. Thank you!

Disney parks drinks come home! This fun recipe book brings the magic of Disney drinks right into your own kitchen and cocktail party! Packed with amazing ingredients and cool park history, this unofficial but extensive collection of drink recipes gives you all the flavors you crave whether you’ve tasted them at the parks, or just dreamed about them when travel is limited. Whether you’ve experienced these flavors in person or not, you’ll get a kick out of the cool concoctions and unique flavor combinations!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for my free copy. These opinions are my own.

This is a fun book! It starts with an overview/history of drinks at the Walt Disney parks, which was interesting to read. It also includes a guide to essential equipment and syrups for the drinks. There are plenty of fun drinks included in this book with a little description of each. The illustrations and images added a much needed visual component to the book and helped break up the text. There are a variety of recipes, however, some require ingredients that are hard to find.

Thank you to Netgalley for providing me an eARC in exchange for an honest review!

This was a fun cookbook for any Disney fan. As a past pass holder, I was craving some of these drinks, especially those from Galaxy's Edge. I loved having the chance to drink these again without having to brave the crowds. The recipes are easy to follow and easy to change if, for instance, you want to make your cocktail into a mocktail. I can't wait to make some of these drinks for the family this holiday season.

I don’t know about you, but I have been craving Disney for the last year and a half. This recipe book was a perfect compromise for not breaking the budget and allowing me to get a little taste of the Disney Parks that I so miss.

Initially, I thought it was pretty pricey to get all the ingredients to make these yummy drinks. But then, I figured these ingredients were a small amount in comparison of what I would spend in the parks.

The layout is super helpful where there is a master list of ingredients and supplies you would need to make the various drinks towards the beginning.

You will have to plan out your drink schedule so you don’t waste any of the special syrups and mixer ingredients to add to your drinks.

I do wish that each drink had an accompanying picture just because I had to Google what some of them should look like at the end.

There’s such a variety of drinks here that you’ll have plenty to choose from.

My favs:
Lava Smoothie and the Dole Whip Float. Yum!!

Thank you for this book! It was perfect to satisfy my Disney craving.

This book is a solid source of recipes for virgin and adult specialty beverages that are offered at Disney Parks and Resorts. There is an introduction about the history of beverages in the parks (I never knew about the grape juice!) and even a section about rest rooms which are inevitably necessary after enjoying beverages!

The book lists basic equipment needed to make the drinks, and has some colorful photos, though more photos would have been welcome. These recipes could be used for a Disney themed party at home, or for any festive occasion.

I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

As an avid Disney fan I loved these recipes! This book brings the parks into your home when you can't be in the most magical place. There is a recipe for everyone in this book no matter the flavors you like.

I was very pleased with this cookbook. This book has a lot of appeal and it is a great choice for the cookbook collector, the Disney fan and the person that just simply likes to have fun and shake things up in the kitchen. There are an array of intriguing recipes included and although there is not a photo for every recipe, what photos are included are beautifully done. The downside here is the ingredients. A lot of the ingredients are not going to be found in your kitchen and some will require putting the effort forth to find them. Still, as a whole I liked it and with a bit of planning ahead I think it offers a great way to add somethings special to your parties, events or even just a kitchen adventure with the kids.

The book has lots and lots of drinks, dessert drinks, mocktails, cocktails, slushies and more. Most recipes seem simple enough. A few of the recipes have some items that may be a bit harder to get your hands on. One thing I really liked was the bit of history at the beginning of this book. That was a sweet touch. I found the book to be designed well and the pictures clear and appetizing; although I would have liked more pictures of the drinks. If you can't make it to the Disney Parks, this might be the book for you!

I love cookbooks and this one was a real treat. I will definitely be making some of these drinks and now I really want to go to a Disney park.

Exciting way to recreate your favourite drinks from Disney Resorts, or to try new ones. Perfect for this year when travel might not be an option for your whole family. I’m excited to try a few of the hot drink recipes as the weather gets colder. I think that some of the ingredients for the drinks might be harder to find for readers outside of the US.

Thank you NetGalley and Adams Media/Simon & Schuster Inc. for a copy of "The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book: From LeFou's Brew to the Jedi Mind Trick, 100+ Magical Disney-Inspired Drinks" in exchange for my honest review.

This book is a wonderful "taste" of the Disney magic you can recreate at home. There are recipes from all the parks. There are brilliant photographs in the book to illustrate most of the drinks. There are guides as to what you need to have on hand at home, substitutions if you can't find a particular item where you live.

There is a lot of background given to each drink and you can learn a lot about the history of the parks through this. There are interesting Disney facts, maps of the Parks/Resorts & Hotels to locate where each drink is available in the park. There is also a US/Metric Conversion chart.

So much fun in this beautiful package! I did not know about its companion book, thank you for the introduction. The history and details add value to the recipes. I wish they were a little easier for me to replicate. I will keep trying. Magical! Prominently displayed in our Cocktail section for lifelong Disney fans (all of us!)

A beautifully created cookbook! I love visiting Disney world, and drinking around the world was one of the highlights of my trip! Having recipes that I can easily make myself is a fun way to reminisce my vacation. I enjoyed the organization of the cookbook, mocktails, slushes, hot cocoa/tea, fruity, etc. There were a lot of fun variations on Mojito, there seemed to be a recipes for any person's tastes. My favorite drinks were the Habibi daquiri and Paradise punch. I wish there were more visuals and images of the drinks. Overall highly recommend this for your Disney or cocktail enthusiasts!

What a fun book this was to both read and use!! I loved taking a walk through the chapters and remembering past trips and treats we enjoyed. I made about 1/2 of the recipes listed and have taken notes on how to make others in the future. My nephews especially loved the Night Blossom slushy and the various milkshakes. It was also really fun that Ashley added a map and information about where to find the treats at the different parks. Each recipe was easy to follow and very delicious. There were even suggestions about how to make things easier or more tasty depending on your preferences. I certainly recommend this book and look forward to adding a copy of it to my cookbook shelf. Thank you for this wonderful book!!

We've tried almost every recipe in this book and have not found ANY that did not turn out a perfect drink! Simple recipes made with standard ingredients will bring Disneyland to you.

First I want to say that this book completely delivers on what it promises. This book is packed with recipes you can replicate at home of your favourite Disney drinks.

Many of the recipes are pretty simple, though they call for certain ingredients which might require a bit of prep work or a bit of a hunt to track down. However, in a lot of ways the reward are some sweet, fun, and unique drinks that you’ve probably never thought to try making at home.

The book is divided into drink types which makes it quite easy to navigate, and hosts recipes that range from simple juices, to complex dessert drinks which most certainly feature some sort of added treat. There are also really nice pictures throughout the book, while I wish there were more, the ones that were there definitely leave me thirsty.

As a whole, this is the perfect book for hardcore Disney fans, those hosting Disney style events, or people who just want some new drink recipes (alcoholic and non-alcoholic alike). This is a fairly simple cookbook, but it delivers what is promised, so for those wanting replicated Disney drinks, this book will not disappoint.

Special thanks to the publishers and netgalley for a virtual arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I recently began booking my first ever Disney trip and reading The Unofficial Disney Parks Drinks Recipe Book has really helped in hyping me up for my planning! When I first saw this book I didn’t realize that it was strictly about Disney park drinks, but it did not disappoint.

The Unofficial Disney Parks Drinks Recipe book has a similar set up as most recipe books. It begins with a little introduction and includes a rather extensive list of the tools and techniques that will be used to recreate many of the recipes. After that, it jumps straight into the recipes. Some of which were complicated, some that were simple and a bunch that were in between! One thing that I thought was perfect about the book was how Craft made sure to include the park and location where each drink can be found. She even included maps at the end of the book. This made the book feel like, not only a recipe book, but a guide that could be used to help taste test the real thing!

There was a huge selection of recipes and too many that looked amazing! I’m particularly excited for all of the Star Wars themed drinks. There were both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks included, though the alcoholic section was smaller than I was expecting. Especially with what I’ve heard about Epcot being such a great place to grab a cocktail. I would love to see Craft write a similar book for the Universal parks. Mainly so I can get an idea of what to drink when we get to Harry Potter world!

Are you a Disney person? While I am not a hard-core Disney fan, I enjoy their movies, shows, and treats! There is something super cool about character/movie inspired drinks and food items. So this book totally caught my eye! I have never actually been to Disney World, but I have seen pictures of some amazing looking drinks and food!
This cookbook is separated into categories of drinks: Lemonades & Fruity Drinks, Slushes, Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, & Cider, Cocktails, Mocktails, and Dessert Drinks. Each section has a few color pictures that look really good! They make the drinks look so cool! Beware, yours may not look quite as nice! We tried about four drinks from different sections, and though they tasted good, they weren’t quite the level of artistry that these drinks would be at the parks!
It was cool to also read about some of the story or inspiration behind each drink. Each recipe has a brief intro, which were fun to read! We were not able to really try any cocktails (we are all underage), but we tried one from most of the other categories. Most of these recipes had things that we didn’t normally own, so we usually had to buy ingredients. There were also some recipes that would benefit from different kitchen appliances, like a blender or ice-cream machine. Many recipes can also be made simpler if you don’t mind it not looking exactly like the park drink, such as not having all the colors or toppings. But going all out definitely creates a fun drink!
I would recommend this to any Disney fans and those who enjoy making fun and unique drinks!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher through Netgalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, a positive review was not required.

Why did I have to get this while pregnant? Haha I can't wait to try these. Upon scrolling through the book, it looks AMAZING and I can't wait to try to make all of these.

After an intro on the history of Disney drinks and covering Mixologists Essentials (tools and syrup recipes), the book has tons of recipes for drinks! Chapters are Lemonades & Fruity Drinks; Slushes; Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, and Cider; Mocktails; Cocktails; and Dessert Drinks.
The book does specify that these are drinks from the US-based parks. I love that each recipe tells the restaurant or vendor and the park where it came from, and many have an explanation paragraph header. There are color photos throughout the book, but not of every drink, and some recipes have suggestions for alternative ingredients.
This is a fantastic book for Disney park addicts, Disney fans, and those looking for fun and interesting drinks.

As an avid Disney fan, I was really excited about this book. Whether you're looking for a way to reconnect with Disney memories or just a way to bring some magic to your event, the recipes in this book are utterly charming, and easy to follow.

I absolutely love these recipes! Would recommend to any Disney park fan who wants to experience some of the magic at home. My family and I loved recreating our favourite beverages from Disney. You can tell this book is written by a Disney fan. There is a zest of Disney magic between these pages. I love and own Ashley Crafts other Disney cookbook and I will for sure be adding this one to our library as well.

Can’t wait until I can make it back to the parks! But I’m the meantime I’m grateful to have books like this.

In this wonderful book, Ashley Craft brings a combination of some Disney history and several delicious drink recipes all inspired by the different Disney parks. The opening of the book is a fun read because it covers some of the interesting history behind Disney down to why it went from an alcohol-free zone to offering some alcoholic beverages in recent times. It’s been a long, LONG time since I’ve visited any of the Disney parks, and this book brought some of the magic from them straight into my home.

The rest of the book is separated by the type of drinks, with recipes ranging from coffee to cold and fun slushies. There’s also a section on the types of ingredients one will need, including how to make some of them and substitutes for coffee for non-drinkers as well as anyone looking for a coffee flavor without the caffeine. Each recipe is easy to follow and the pictures that are provided look absolutely delicious. Pictures are not provided for every drink, at least in the copy of the book I received, but the pictures that are featured are beautiful.

I like that the recipes include some facts about the drink, which is about the location, the ride it’s inspired by, or something fun about the flavors. It really makes reading the book more fun because there’s all kinds of neat facts and information featured all over the pages. There’s also a guide for ride locations at different parks or Disney owned locations, which is pretty neat.

All in all, this is a fun read with many recipes that are easy to adjust for personal preferences. Many of the drinks appear to be rather sweet, which is something I would’ve loved when I was younger, but it’ll be easy to reduce that for any of the drinks I make. Personally, I got really excited when I saw that there’s a recipe for a dole whip float, so I’m eager to try that recipe first.

Slushies, mocktails, coffee drinks, and all manner of lemonades! Yum.

You don't need to be a fan of Walt Disney or his parks to enjoy these fun, sweet, colorful drinks. For those who just like mixing up interesting libations, this book is for us.

Interesting facts about the different parks' histories and movie tid-bits alternate between the recipes, and made for interesting reading. Handy dandy easy to follow instructions, pleasing photos, and a good reference section, make Ashley Craft's Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book: From LeFou's Brew to the Jedi Mind Trick, 100+ Magical Disney-Inspired Drinks a great addition to any family's home.

Full disclosure, I have not tried the recipes yet in this book, but as someone who enjoys cooking and making cocktails, there are many I plan to try.

In addition to the recipes, the author tells the reader where you can purchase each beverage in Disney World and includes a map.

I highly recommend The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book for Disney World fans.

I am a library paraprofessional and received an advance copy from #NetGalley. Opinions are my own.

I absolutely loved The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book! The recipes in it are fantastic and very reminiscent of being in the parks. My favorite is the recipe for the Night Blossom which can be found in Pandora at Animal Kingdom. Overall, the recipes that I tried are shockingly similar to those from the parks and I couldn't be happier! This book makes a great gift for any fellow Disney lovers and those looking for some magic at home!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of the book. This review is voluntary, and all opinions are honest and my own.
