One of the best illustrated picture books that spills magic in every page!

The illustration is just pure magic I would say.

As long as you are not reading this one you will never understand what I have experienced with this storybook.

I loved the art and the rhythm of the words, but I don't think I entirely got the message. Are kids supposed to be learning to do mediation? Will they understand this is a metaphorical light? My child at least was a little confused.

what better way to teach a child to love themselves other than to develop the light within? This is a very beautiful book that invite kids to develop their own beautiful light and enjoy life.

This book is absolutely precious. A young, non-white(!!) child learns about how his inner light shines. I absolutely love the animated illustrations and the relaxing cozy colors they chose. This is a great little picture book!

This was such a sweet story and I loved the theme of the book

The illustrations in the book are lovely and they really suited the story.

It was well written and easy to follow, I read it with my daughter at bedtime and she enjoyed it from start to finish too – perfect match for her and she is right in the target age range for the book.

It is 5 stars from me for this one, gets it point over really well – very highly recommended!

The Light Within is a beautiful and touching children's book. Its stunning illustrations capture the heart of what makes each of us unique and special. As an educator, I teach my young students about how each one of them has a "Love Light" inside. I cannot wait to have this book be a part of my classroom.

This book is perfect to give additional value to who people truly are in a cute and carefree manner that children will adore. It has cute images within the book. I love the idea of this book and how it encourages self-esteem and individualism.

This is a beautiful children's story with wonderful illustrations. It is important to remind children that they all have a special light inside that makes them special and this book does that perfectly. As I read this to my daughter her attention was held easily with the illustrations and message of the story.

I love the illustrations in this book, it was really eye-catching for my little girl and I'm sure it would capture the attention of a class of small children. I like the idea of a light within, and I think it would be a marvellous exercise to do with small children in order to find their own light. I read this book with my 9 year old son, & we both loved it. I felt quite emotional at times with the beautiful wording and pictures. Such a gorgeous book about finding your own inner light and how everyone is special and important in their own ways. Beautiful illustrations and beautiful story, as a parent this book really pulls at the heart.

This book would be really good for a bedtime story. I think the message is necessary for children. A little boy was trying to find the ‘light’ within him. The illustrations are wonderful. Since this would be a wonderful bedtime story, I will not be adopting it for my classroom, however I will keep this book in mind for when I have children of my own.

This story is super sweet and exactly what children need to hear when turmoil swirls around them. I could see it becoming part of a meditation or mantra to calm little minds before sleep or to settle stressful thoughts.

I read this with my six year old and she loved it!

It’s such a sweet story about finding the light within ourselves and how to love it. I loved the illustrations, they are so sweet and diverse too.

My daughter especially loved the stars and we talked about sharing the light as if the light is kindness, love and happiness.

I thought it was a lovely little book about self love in terms easy enough for a child to understand and process.

I will say the formatting for the ebook will need adjustments as the pictures fell on different pages to the text.

What a lovely children's book about a boy discovering the light that is shining brightly inside him. I love how by smiling all the time he feels he is emitting his inside light out to the world. My six-year-old daughter enjoyed the book as well as the colorful illustrations.

A beautifully illustrated book to teach children the value of meditation and kindness , and to teach them the value and charm of their smiles. My daughter ( 5 years old) loved this one and asks me to read over and over again.

The Light Within is a beautiful picture book for children. It encourages children to find their light within, such a positive message. This would make a perfect addition to early any early childhood or lower elementary classrooms. The illustrations were lovely, too!

The Light Within follows a little boy whose mother tells him he's got a special light inside of him. He's never been able to see it until one day it starts to shine.

I loved this beautiful book. The message is positive and tells children that they each have something magical inside them, whatever that may be. The artwork is simply gorgeous! I loved the style so much. My favorite picture was the one of the boy hugging the star.
