Description
When Lars Hendriks arranges to meet Marit Jansen in Vienna, he is hoping their friendship will blossom into romance. What he doesn’t expect is a surprise visit from his cousin Cole or the loose diamonds he brings with him.
As a CIA operative, Cole Bridger is used to uncertainty, but when his work takes him back to Vienna, he looks forward to reconnecting with Isabelle Roberts, the fellow agent he dated briefly before duty took him away from Austria. Unfortunately, his silence over the last few months has created a chasm he can’t cross without help. He barely takes a step toward repairing the damaged relationship when a brazen jewel heist seemingly links Cole, Lars, Marit, and Isabelle to the crime. The group is drawn into a deadly mystery, and once again, the treasures of Falcon Point are threatened. It doesn’t take long for them to realize they have stumbled upon something far bigger and more dangerous than a simple robbery. And someone on the inside knows it.

Advance Praise
"The Danger with Diamonds is a thrilling novel filled with suspense and intrigue. The characters are interesting and easy to relate to, although the relationships between Cole, Lars, Isabelle, and Marit become rather complicated, another challenge for the team to solve... The story has many twists and turns with a few surprises along the way... All-round, a great novel highly recommended to all adults." -5-Star Readers' Favorite Review

Thank you net galley for the advance reader copy of this novel. This was a contemporary thriller novel that is the continuation of a story. I loved these characters and felt like this book could be a stand alone. I enjoyed the European setting, black tie event, and all the suspenseful chase, bank, hostage scenes. Well written and would read more by these authors.
“"If you think I'm going to dance with you, you have another thing coming.”
"You don't have to dance with me. Just show me the steps.”
"Not happening.””
This exchange between Lars and Cole had me dying with laughter. Their relationship is so good and down right hilarious at times. I love that they have been come so close after meeting each other in the first book. This book was filled with great one liners and funny moments.
Traci Abramson and Sian Ann Bessey did such a great job co-writing this book. I loved that we got to learn more about their characters from Heirs of Falcon Point. It’s easy to lose yourself in this book and not worry about who wrote which part. Their writing style blend well together which definitely made this book a good read.
I enjoyed watching Lars and Marit take the next step from friends to dating. It was sweet and cute. I love that they helped Cole with his blunder of a relationship with Isabelle. That man is smart when it comes to his CIA job, but he’s not the best with dating. But he definitely improves by the end of the book!
I loved that these four characters work together to solve case together. Did I slap my forehead when Cole got Lars and Marit involved and he thought he would be able to keep his secret of working for the CIA from them? Yes I did.
I love that Marit and Isabelle were such great female characters. They each had their own strengths and were helpful in solving the case. It was nice seeing them help each other navigate their relationship with Cole and Lars.
This book was face pace and filled with a ton of action which I loved. This is the sequel to Heirs of Falcon point and really should be read after you read the first one.
These thoughts and opinion are my own. Thanks NetGalley for the free ARC.
