Description
Super-feminine and confirmed shoe-a-holic Delaney Morran receives an unexpected inheritance—the keys to a tow truck from a dad she’s never known. Even though she hasn't changed a tire, or even driven any kind of a truck, she's determined to make the rough and dangerous business a success. When she hauls a vehicle with the body of her jerk-of-an ex hidden in the trunk, the small-town cops in Spruce Ridge, Colorado do not believe this a coincidence. They have her in their headlights as the prime suspect. When the news hits, her business stalls. As a woman trying to make a living in a man’s world, she drives her rig in four-inch-heels to set herself apart. But she must toughen up her image and solve the crime or she’ll end up parked in jail.

Good book! This book was a cutesy read but with some grit! It had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, mystery, romance and a bit of a who done it and some great sleuthing work! I did enjoy reading this book and watching the main female character kind of come into her own! It was a cute read! I will definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
This book was very well written certainly, drama filled with lots of suspense and intrigue. I enjoyed the characters and the adventure and drama that they went through. This was an excellent book and can't wait for more in the series.
Thank you NetGalley, Karen C. Whalen and The Wild Rose Press, Inc for the copy of Toes on the Dash. This is my personal review.
This book was great from beginning to end. I just could not pass on a mystery that features a shoe fanatic that inherits a tow truck business from her dad.
I really had no knowledge of how to use a tow truck, but I sure learned right along Delaney as Tanner who owns his own towing company.
And of course, there had to be big bump in her first towing job when a dead body was found in the car she towed. And to make it even more interesting the dead body was nonother than her ex- boyfriend.
This pointed a finger right at her as the top suspect.
This new series, The Tow Truck Murder Mysteries is going to be a great series to read. I can’t wait for the book to come out.
When Delaney inherits her fathers tow truck she doesn't know what to think as she has not seen or heard from him since she was a child. She decides to try and make a go of it, but it seems one disaster after another is determined to make her loose the business.
This book was interesting and well written, I liked the fact that the author put Delaney in a predominantly male profession and did not try to change her completely to fit the role. The problems I had with the book was at times Delaney was extremely immature and some of the situations had her doing stupid things it seemed just for the sake of stupidity and angst. I did not see that these situations furthered the story at all. All in all an ok book, but I don't know that I will be reading the next one.
Suspense, lots of suspects and a great plot made this book an enjoyable read! Love the main character. Thanks#netgalley and #TheWildRosePressInc for the eARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.
I honestly found the description interesting but not sure if I would enjoy it. I loved it Delaney is so much fun and just jumps into the towing business not knowing anything. She unfortunately tows a car with a dead body that happens to be her ex boyfriend. I loved the characters and mystery in this one. I will be looking forward to more in the series.
