Description
High-heeled tow truck driver Delaney Morran lands a contract with the city to remove abandoned vehicles from the side of the road. Ever since she discovered a gunshot victim in a stalled Impreza, nightmares cause her to pass up towing opportunities. As the lone woman tow truck driver in town, she needs to be as tough as her all-male competition, but word gets out that she’s rattled and worse—incompetent. It doesn’t help that gang members show up to threaten Delaney, making her question whether the roadside shooting is drug related. No one wants to believe drugs have invaded the small town of Spruce Ridge. But after she loses the city contract, Delaney must have closure for the crime or else she may be forced to close up shop.

Thank you NetGalley, Karen C. Whalen and The Wild Rose Press, Inc for the copy of Hands on the Wheel. This is my personal review.
It was great to be back with Delaney! I love the fact she is a tow truck business owner. She inherited her father’s towing business and had to learn a lot.
The business had more to it than she imagined, and this book gives her another mystery to solve.
This is the second book in the series and after reading it I am looking forward to the next one.
Delaney Moran has taken over her father’s tow truck business and being the only woman in a job with men she has to work twice, three times as hard. Securing a contract with the city to tow abandoned cars she figures this is a good way of having money coming in all the time, that is until she finds a body in one of the cars. Thinking that she is weak and can be intimidated by a gang has threatened her to mind her own business but she just can’t let it go and also will not believe that drugs have come into her nice town. In order to fight for herself and her town she begins her own investigation for she has nothing to lose for no one takes her seriously anyway. A good story that has action, and suspense, and you get to see the growth of the character, overall a good book.
