I loved the watercolor paintings in the book. They added a delightful touch to the lovely story. The book was clearly crafted with love and a sense of wonder for a child's world. I would definitely purchase a hard copy for my son.
Thank you to Netgalley for providing my eArc.
I really enjoyed this sweet read. Hasn’t every mother at one time or another thought about what her child thinks or dreams about? I love how she imagines her child in many wild and adventurous places but eventually comes to the realization that her son is most likely dreaming about his life and his loved ones, including mom! So sweet! I liked the rhyming pattern of the book, it made it very easy to read. The illustrations were beautiful and fit along well with the book. This is definitely a story I would love to own for my classroom or my own child.
This book was really cute and gives ideas that a child's future could be limitless and they should dream big! I liked all of the different things and places mentioned to hopefully peak a child's curiosity. I especially liked that map at the end that could be the thing that creates lots of discussions between the reader and the little one/s that they are reading to. Really nice book, with cute illustrations!
This rhyming story follows a mother's thoughts on what she thinks her baby could be dreaming about. Her ideas range from dinosaurs to the Great Wall of China. In the end she concludes that her baby must be dreaming of all the ones that love him. The rhyming story is soothing and perfect as a bedtime story for children ages 5+. The art is beautiful and gives the whimsical feel of dreaming- which the story is about. #netgalley #netgalleyarc #arc
This is such a cute little book. As a mother to a one year old I absolutely loved the ending of this book where it talks about how the child is actually dreaming about all of the things that had made them happy that day instead of some fantastical thing like going to space or the amazon or riding a giraffe. It is a very sweet book that I think is just great for reading to babies and toddlers.

This book definitely needed to be written! I imagine most new parents lose time staring at their perfect baby sleeping. I remember my heart filling so full, with my little one so full of potential. Looking back, I spent a lot of time imagining what fun adventures they may encounter throughout their lifetime.
I absolutely adored this cute picture book with traditional watercolor pages. It's so soothing for the eyes. I love the simple illustrations with a touch of whimsy. All the small details make my heart happy.
The text uses simple language and brief sentences. I'd consider the language beginner friendly. I love all the fun and exciting adventures the baby gets into. Dream big and with high hopes!
Thank you, NetGalley and Girl Friday Productions, for an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Very sweet story for parents with littles ones. A visual dreamlike book as the mom wonders what her new baby dreams when he is asleep. Is he doing daring feats and seeing the world, or in the end is he dreaming of the ones that love him.
It's really sweet with cute artsy illustrations. One con is I am not sure if it will be as engaging for kids, but it is a nice story.
Thank you to NetGalley and Girl Friday Productions. My review is voluntarily my own.

Beautifully illustrated and written story. I loved the subtle coloring in all the pictures. Irrespective of the dream I felt drawn, the motion from reading to seeing was fluid.
There are a couple spots I found a little wordy, primarily the beginning; once I got over that page or two, the rhythm kicked in. The ending was beautiful and left me teared up -- coincidentally, my dream for all children.
This book has so many gifting possibilities. This is a home run.
This is a sweet book about a mother who is wondering what her sleeping baby boy is dreaming about. The text is rhyming and simple, but takes you on an adventure. The illustrations are bright and captivating. This is the perfect book for any mom to read to her little boy because every mom can relate to it!
Thank you to NetGalley and to Bird Upstairs books for an advanced readers copy.
My thoughts ~
It was a good whole hearted childrens book with great beautiful pictures. Short story kept my daughter's attention through out. Made her ask questions about adventures happening in the book. She was able to read it almost by herself (she's 7) there are some big words.
I feel like this is a great book I could read to my son as it's more of a mother son bonding book 💙
My Daughter's thoughts ~ colorful and bright loved the pictures I didnt know some of the places or things so my mom had to explain, they were cool.
A mother's dreams about what her baby is dreaming! Sweet trip through a mother projecting her dreams for her child - exploring the world, taking risks and conquering their challenges - while he sleeps. Then realizing that for a baby their wants and dreams are all about love, comfort and peace. Great gift for a new mother!
The illustrations are so beautiful with the swirls and swoops of color.
Thank you to Netgalley and Girl Friday for the opportunity to read and review this precious picture book. #netgalley #InYourDreamsbook
This is a sweet little book that takes you around the world. I loved that this author decided to make the dreams a moment of learning for the readers and the map in the back of the book really tied that together.
She really couldn't have ended this story better by saying that being home and your family is just as special as those memories and is just as big of a dream.
The only critique I have is that the illustrations did not tie or flow well together. The color palette was a little all over the place and the style of illustration was a little different from page to page.
This book is truly inspirational and opens a child’s imagination to dream big. My only personal preference is that everything would rhyme. Some pages did and some did not and it felt choppy. My mind wanted it all to rhyme so bad that it almost felt frustrating. (I.e. Falls and Wall) I think the concept is great though and the lesson is wonderful for young children.
This is a sweet bedtime story. The vibrant illustrations will engage a young child's interest while sparking their interest about places all over the world. While baby dreams of adventures around the world, the reader learns the most precious dreams are those of his loved ones. This is a future classic that should added to bedtime routines along with stories like Goodnight Moon and Love You Forever.
Cute little book for parents or siblings who have a little brother or sister at home. It’s an adorable idea.
Such a sweet book that is perfect for a bedtime story for the little ones.
I loved all the different places explored which can really help spark imagination in children. I also adored the dreamy illustrations throughout the story!
A beautiful delightful book. The dreamy illustrations , both the children and myself absolutely loved and the story of the mother's love and dreams for her child emotional and touching.
