This book on "listening" to guidance while journal writing is an essential for anyone who follows Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way method. Told in a series of stories and interviews with friends, this book demonstrates how you can gain insight and answers to questions and dilemmas while making space for the divine on the pages of your journal.
I enjoyed this book. I had figured out years ago that many questions get answered and dilemmas solved while writing my Morning Pages, so this book was quite affirming. The book has helped me be more intentional about listening to divine guidance while journaling. Much appreciated!
Wonderful continuation of the original. I have enjoyed using all the tools that Julia Cameron continues to share. A definite must have for reference during life's ups and downs.

Living the Artist's Way: An Intuitive Path to Greater Creativity by Julia Cameron is such a treasure. Ms Cameron and her Artist’s Way have been fundamental to the process of many artists for years. Here, in this book, she fleshes out her method even more, literally guiding the reader through a six week process. I found this book to be amazing. I loved the way she laid out her process and took things step by step. This is a book that any creative could pick up and immediately gain from. I highly recommend it. I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.
I have most of Julia Cameron’s books. Her essays are powerful, yet relatable. The prompts in this book are focused on guidance. As an intuitive writer, this type of writing practice speaks to me. I will be picking up a physical copy of this book to read slowly and make notes in the margins. Thanks Julia, for another thoughtful and timely book.
