Everything is not as it seems for this group of young grieving widows, because at least one of these young women is keeping secrets from her group of friends. As all mystery readers know, all too often, secrets can be deadly.
An entertaining, enjoyable mystery told by a talented wordsmith.. The ultimate revenge novel!
Great read, fab plot and interesting characters, kept me reading…..it was a pretty perfect thriller tbh right up to and including the ending, would recommend
Thank you to NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book.
Adriana, Isabel, and Kylie make up The Young Widows Club. They meet regularly to help each other through the grief of losing their husbands so young in life. But each one of them harbours secrets they couldn’t possibly share with each other.
This was a brilliant read. Very unique and unlike anything I’ve read before. The characters were very well written, and I loved each of them. They were all flawed and imperfect, but perfect in their roles of the story. The plot was brilliant, and had many twists and turns. A real gem of a book. A solid 5 stars from me.
The young widows is a great book. The plot is brilliant and the characters are very well written.
Lots of suspense and a fabulous end.
This is a really good read. We are introduced to five widows who seemingly different have more in common than just grief. I’m not going to give away the plot or twists but just read it yourself. Five stars!

I wasn’t that keen on this book when I first started it but I stuck with it and ended up really enjoying it . I loved the characters and the way the story came together at the end . I would recommend this book and give it 5 stars
A twisty tale of secrets and full of suspense.
An interesting plot idea, 4 young women all grieving but their stories have more depth to them as on the surface they seem like a group of women supporting each other in their darkest time. When those layers are peeled back, this story has you gripped.
Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to review this book, this is my honest opinion.
Grieving but guilty…. Sometimes a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do! I devoured this book in a judgment-free evening!
This book had me gripped from the opening. A man's death told in great detail. But who is he and what has he done.?
We are then introduced to a group of women. The young widows. Each has their own tale to tell. the story of their lives and the husbands they lost. Each one trying to piece there lives back together and to move on. At first look the women are all so different but as the story unfolds you realise they have more in common than you could ever have imagined.
Many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to see an ARC
Brilliant story with so many unexpected twists and turns. This kept me hooked in all the way through. Highly recommend.
A real page turning thriller with lots of twists and turns that escalates into a surprise ending.
The female characters are well drawn and easy to relate to and I enjoyed the premise of the young widows group.
I wasn’t sure if I would like this took me a good few chapters but wow once it got going it was fantastic. It was a very twisty read full of suspense and the twists kept on coming until the very gripping ending. Highly recommended thanks to netgallery and the publisher for my advanced copy.
Kylie, Adriana, Hannah and Isabel are bonded together by their grief over losing their husbands. Together they form The Young Widows Group. I loved all the characters each one of them had lots of secrets which they want to stay hidden. I loved how you got to know the characters so well that you had to know how it was all going to turn out for them. Excellent read.
Meet the four young widows, who seek comfort and support from each other. Kylie is hurt and her solace is to drink, which is rapidly becoming out of control as she has evenings out that she cannot properly remember. Isabel hides her pain, having already been scarred both physically and mentally by a rape and attack when she was younger. Adriana is glamorous and is preparing to marry again, after meeting an old friend of her husband's at his funeral and being swept off her feet. Hannah is the new member, newly widowed and very unsure of herself.
However, all four are keeping secrets that will lead to an exciting climax as the strands interweave and their secrets are revealed. Its a real rollercoaster and although the pace slows in the middle, its well worth sticking on to the end as the reader is swept away by all the reveals.
A great read. Thank you to NetGalley and Avon Books for allowing me access to the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
