This is a great resource to quickly inform people of all ages about climate activism. It goes through the history of climate and pollution reforms, and also current change being advocated for by the youth.
Highly recommend, as we all need to be well informed about climate change; there is no planet B after all.
This was such a good introduction to what has happened and what is currently happening. I did not know a lot of these activists and I’m looking forward to researching them more.

An excellent look at a super important subject. Should be required reading for every Republican in the country.
This was a great nonfiction level book on climate action! There was history, there was current events, and there was so much information about how young folks could become involved in climate action!
The graphic novel format was particularly engaging, and as a teacher I would not hesitate to share this with a middle or high school course.
I would absolutely recommend this to teachers and parents alike.
I received an advanced reader copy of this work, Climate Activists by Stephanie Loureiro, illus. by David López, in exchange for a fair review..
Climate Activists is a graphic novel introduction to climate change and climate activism. We learn about people in the past who fought for environmental issues, and some of the important milestones from the past fifty years that have started current activism. Then the book covers the realization by many that this is a serious issue, and the beginning steps that governments and other organizations have begun taking to address the issue. The last chapter highlights some of the more well-known youth activists across the world.
This is a very thorough introduction for young people to the issues of climate change and the history of climate activism. This is a hugely important topic as we continue into the future, and this is a great beginning to educate the younger generation. Very well done.
Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review this advanced review copy (ARC) in exchange for my honest review on the book!
