This was an easy to follow and nicely formatted cookbook with recipes geared towards a low cholesterol diet. I have book marked several recipes to try. (Breakfast Cookies!) The one things I appreciated about this cookbook was there was no ‘you can’t have’ but rather a lot of healthy options.
I really like how in-depth this cookbook gets into explaining the differences between normal cooking methods and cooking with low cholesterol. The entire beginning section was very informative and helpful for someone just learning how to manage their cholesterol.
I also really appreciated how it was split up by mealtimes, with explanations of healthy habits for each mealtime.
This cookbook is awesome! It's so easy to follow and has recipes that are perfect for a low-cholesterol diet. I've already bookmarked several recipes to try out. Love how it offers plenty of healthy options which is great!
This book seems to fit the title very well - no hard to find ingredients or lengthy instructions. All pretty simple. I think if you are looking for anything beyond the basics you may be disappointed but for weekly night dinners that fit my health goals i found it successful.
I'm often times on the lookout for healthy dinner ideas, especially when they're quick and easy. I'm really looking forward to trying these recipes. I'm bad about cooking the same things over and over again, and hopefully these will break the cycle of boring dinners. There are tons of dessert recipes for a sweet tooth like me - I cannot wait to make the crumb-topped cherry cobbler.
I appreciate the publisher and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this cookbook in exchange for an honest review.
