This book reassured me of what I've always believed: building relationships is the key to succeeding at everything, work, and life. Connected covered everything, from mastering the art of connecting to your purpose, communication skills, and building your village. Fun to read and insightful. It's a book everybody should read.
I especially appreciated the last chapter on how to repair connections in different relationships from parents to coworkers.
I found this piece to be exceptionally well-crafted, and I'm eagerly anticipating the opportunity to delve into more works by this author. Given its potential popularity among our library patrons, we're certainly looking forward to adding it to our collection
This was an interesting take on the power of relationships and networking. I appreciated that business connections were the focus and how some of the scenarios wove a person's career path into his connections. In the business world, as soft skills are being rebranded as essential workplace skills, I think these will become very important skills to have.
