A great read for anyone who has seen any of Burton’s films. I grew up watching his movies and was always drawn to the dark allure that I knew each movie would provide. This book gives details not only to the films ( and in Wednesdays case show) but also the man behind the madness.
This was an exciting book to explore.

I appreciated this book's presentation of information and formatting. It is well put together and I enjoyed reading it.
It's really fun to read the stories behind Burton's works. I've always loved his style, and that it's so obvious when he's involved in a project, even when the new project is completely different from everything that came before.
His origins are funny, too, especially how Disney hired him for some projects and he created works that were brilliant but way too dark. The accompanying photos are fantastic, with several of the actors and many candid photos of Burton himself.
I highly recommend this for anyone who loves quirky art. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

ok so edward scissorhands is one of my favorite movies so when i got to that part of this book, i was astounded to see the connection between phantom of the opera and edward. i didn't know that!! the juxtaposition between the world edward lived in and the world below was amazing to learn about. throughout this book, you get images and backstory to tim burton's brillance and for anyone that is a fan of his, this book is for you! i thought everything was very well researched and put together.
As a long time Burton admirer I thoroughly enjoyed not only reading about each production of his, but reading about the WHY of each production. Learning about who, and what, fueled his love for the macabre and strange was beyond fascinating. There were even a few productions I completely forgot that he worked on and I'm now compelled to go watch them.
