This book had intrigue, murder, mystery, suspense, and a few crazy twists and turns! The story was very interesting! I definitely recommend reading this book! Oh yeah! Lyndee Walker did it again. Another great installment in the Texas Ranger Faith McClellan story. I especially love the crossover with the Nichelle Clarke series. CAN'T WAIT for the next one in the series. A fast, page turning read that you can't put down until the end. Definitely recommend reading the series from the beginning. Don't start with this one - you need to read them in order to get the full understanding of the characters.

If I could give this book 10 stars I would.
Holy…well I won’t cuss.
But I did earlier and I sobbed. This is the best book this author has ever written. For now. And let me tell you I have read all her books. 3 in the last couple weeks. She is…WOW.
Let me start off by saying the last book left me breathless. And for her to literally hit the ground running from page 1 blew my mind. And it never let up. This book was a wild ride. A ride that left me gutted. And on top of that another favorite character played a huge role in this book.
This book was EPIC. My heart is still pounding. And all I can think of is…I need more. NOW. The way this author weaves a story literally has me breathless. Do yourself a favor and read her. You will thank me.

The story’s intensity and depth pulled me in from the first page, compelling me to go back to the beginning of the Faith McClellan series. This seventh installment can be read as a standalone, but for a richer experience, I recommend starting with book six.
