We're Off to the Forest was a darling picture book about a squirrel & his father exploring the forest. This book had amazing illustrations & showed all of the ways that the squirrels were interacting with the forest by gathering acorns & interacting with other animals.
I felt like this one was really special and loved that it had a message about doing small good deeds that could become big good deeds with a little patience.
Thanks to NetGalley, Albatros Media, and Katarina Macurova for the chance to read & review!
My parents live on a forest preserve and my kids LOVE seeing all the animals. This book was SO fun to read with them and talk about the animals. It was so darling! Highly recommend.
This follows a squirrel and his dad into the forest where they store food and learn how something small can turn into something huge for the forest. The squirrel and his dad bond over planting an acorn and what become of the acorn.
The illustrations were bright and colorful holding my 2 year old and 5 year old's attention. The pictures went well with the story helping with the explanation of the storyline.
The story was cute, easy to understand, and educational. Very cute! I will add review to amazon once I am able to post, which I am assuming is near or on the publishing date.
Thank you Albatros, NetGalley, and Katarina Macurova for allowing us to review this adorable adventure.
