Description
1979, California. Rex Anderson feels stuck... in a loveless marriage... in a blase job... in a life that wasn't supposed to feel so meaningless. He wants nothing more than a reason to feel... alive. Then, on a trip to Monterey, he meets the spunky, ravishing Connie. And nothing would ever be the same...
Completed in 1980, A Dangerous
Road was Weldon Emigh’s only novel. He worked in the coffee business, before
retiring in the Monterey Peninsula, an area that inspired this novel. He died
in 1998.
Thirteen years later, the last
known copy of his manuscript A Dangerous Road was found. His great-grandson, an
author, elected to type up the faded manuscript from scratch and have the novel
published, making Emigh’s life-long dream of becoming a published author,
finally, a reality.
