This was a very suspenseful book. It kept me engaged until the very last page. Such a good story and an entertaining read.
Reed Montgomery is the go to guy for finding terrorists.
A great story with Montgomery chasing Abdel Ibrahim across American and into
Europe after a devastating attack in America.
Ibrahin somehow manages to stay one step ahead of Montgomery all the time which eventually
Thrilling plot with extremely well developed characters. The story line moves along in its intensity
and pulls you right along with it, 100%.
Waiting impatiently now for the next adventure in the life and times of Reed Montogomery.
I received this book from Logan Ryles, his publisher (Severn River Publishing), and the fine folks at NetGalley in return for an honest review.
This is the sixth book in Ryles' exciting thriller series about Reed Montgomery and the members of the Prosecution Force, the blackest of black ops teams
In the aftermath of a pair of deadly chemical weapons (VX) attacks resulting in the deaths of approximately 5,200 souls in the states of Tennessee and Louisiana, this novel details the relentless chase for the world's deadliest terrorist begins by the Prosecution Force.
In the wake of gut-wrenching terrorist attacks across the American heartland, the Prosecution Force—led by relentless black ops specialist Reed Montgomery—is entrusted with capturing Abdel Ibrahim. Known as the world's number one terrorist, Ibrahim has eluded them before - the terrorist whose bomb shrapnel almost killed Banks and did kill their unborn daughter. The terrorist who attempted to assassinate President Trousdale and left her with a non-functioning liver that may kill her yet. The Prosecution Force is back in the good graces, sort of, with the CIA and Director Aimes has placing all hope on them. Looks like Ibrahim got his hands on a nuke and is extremely adept at staying one step ahead of them. He also seems to be an expert on leaving false clues.

While the main story arc is straightforward, there are so many layers behind it you begin to wonder who is pulling the shooter’s strings. This novel also details some of the political machinations behind the American presidency and the geopolitical machinations amongst the nuclear powers of the world.
Once again Mr. Ryles does an excellent job of developing characters in this series, especially Vice President Stratton. In the previous books, he hasn’t been fully informed of the Prosecution Force, however when faced with the reality of the situation one is left to wonder if he is fully supporting them or if he has ulterior motives once he comes to understand their capabilities.
Logan Ryles' action thrillers would be a definite favourite of those readers who are aficiandos of other action thriller authors such as Paul Heatley, Jason Kasper, Blake Banner, and Ian Loome. On a five-star rating, I would easily give this novel a solid four stars. While I was late to discover Logan Ryles’ writing I know I’ll be going back and reading his previous books to get the full backstory on Reed Montgomery. This was a very exciting read and the next one promises to be even better.
As with all my literary ramblings, these are just my five cents worth.
A really great international thriller sort of like the old Clancy books but without the huge military battles. I have not read any Logan Ryles books prior to this, and this book was great. I was able to immediately get into it and wanted Reed Montgomery to avenge his dead daughter and wife. As the book begins, there was a major terrorist attack in the US and Reed Montgomery vows to bring the perpetrator to justice. This story takes us all over the world and really kept me interested and turning the pages. I like the cat and mouse game between Ibrahim and Reed and especially enjoyed the section in the Chunnel. I was a little surprised when it ended on an unresolved cliffhanger but can't wait until the next book is released so I can see where the story goes. A really good action packed book.
