Description
Jellypie, Firefly is a book designed to spark conversations between children and their carers as they navigate living with the letters ADHD.
Meet Jellypie. The firefly who wants to help kids make a bit more sense of the letters ADHD.
Fireflies have special magic that makes them glow. Their glow magic is special because it’s:
Awesome
Dynamic
Happy
Different
And you know what? Being different is a very special thing!
Read along as Jellypie tells stories of living with her ADHD, scenarios where she feels struggles and joys, and moments where she uses her glow magic for herself and with her parents, teachers and friends.

Jellypie Firefly
A children’s book, told through the eyes of Jellypie, a firefly, to help navigate the discussion of ADHD with children and caregivers.
As a former special education teacher/1st grade teacher, I jumped at the opportunity to read Jellypie Firefly!
Jellypie, who does in fact happen to be a firefly, helps kids and caregivers understand what it means to have ADHD and how everyday tasks may look because of it.
Authors A. Theresa Graham and Mareka Stake wrote this book with such positive self-talk and age appropriate repetition for even the youngest of children to understand. I really enjoyed the Parent Guide at the end of the book; such an important tool for those unfamiliar with ADHD to use as a stepping stone to begin conversations about ADHD.
Jellypie, and all the illustrations, are beyond adorable in this captivating children’s book.
Teachers, parents, grandparents, siblings, specialists, and ALL caregivers would truly benefit from learning about “Glow Magic”
