It’s time to face the truth.

Caitlin Shaw hasn’t set foot in her home village since her girlfriend Livy was accused of killing her mother Theresa, and committed to a secure psychiatric hospital. Now a grown woman and a mother herself, Caitlin is forced to return to care for her ailing mother, her father having passed away.

But Theresa’s murder hangs over her like a cloud. And she feels like she’s being watched.

When Caitlin learns that Livy has recently been released, it compounds her fear and guilt. She is forced to address what happened all those years ago.

Caitlin’s father was Livy’s therapist before the murder took place. He uncovered a history of abuse, and so when he was dragged into the investigation, Caitlin was stunned he didn’t do more to help.

But now her father is dead, and Caitlin has more questions than answers.
