Description
An ordinary school, a typical student body, and chocolate cake. New student John arrived at Wellston Private High School hopeful this would be a fresh start for him. He was wrong. Every student in this school possesses a superpower—except for him. Queen of Wellston and the most popular girl in school, Seraphina, has the power to bend time. Wellston’s King, Arlo, can form a barrier of protection around himself. And Isen, Blyke, and Remi each have their own special powers. But John is a “weakling,” and this puts him on the bottom rung in the school’s hierarchy. Welcome to unOrdinary life.

Love the art style of this webcomic, it was so much fun getting to read this how-to-draw book. These characters are superheroes, so you even get to learn a bit about how the artist drew them using their powers. Just love these how-to-draw books, and would recommend them to any artist friends wanting to learn other drawing styles.
I want to start by thanking NetGalley for this opportunity to review this book. I am not a great artist but I’m eager to learn. In the beginning of the book the author does a very thorough job explaining all of the characters and even includes depictions of their height! I thought that this was above and beyond what I expected and I am thankful for this. Not only do you get step by step directions but you also get a tools you need section and an explanation of what is to come! This book was very thorough and amazing for those learning! Thank you again!
I love this tips to draw the characters. It was so useful and easy to use. I followed every steps and the results were quiet good even I'm not the best artist
Immediately I was drawn in from the table of contents alone. Before getting to the step by step drawing instructions there is a synopsis about unOrdinary, then you learn about the characters, then you draw them. It's really quite cool. I love how there is a color palette included for the characters, and a list of all of the tools and materials you'll need. The book is very thorough which I appreciate because I definitely am a step by step person and need literally every detail. My daughter loves anime, wants to be an animator, and she loves to draw so this would be perfect for her, there even is an introduction to publishing on webtoon.
Thank you to netgalley for sending me a copy of this book for review. I love the manga and decided to have a look at this book, I'm not a good drawer however this book makes it easy even for an amature drawer. However, my husband loves to draw and I showed him this book and he followed through it, he also loved it and was definitely better at it than me. Highly recommend for anyone who is a fan of the manga.
