Description
The Paris Apartment meets A Simple Favor in an unputdownable thriller about a honeymoon gone horribly wrong.
Sometimes, Paris is a terrible idea.
This is not how she imagined it, any of it. Taylor Quinn arrives at her honeymoon suite in the City of Love alone, sans suitcase, but with wads of stolen cash. When she catches a glimpse of newlyweds Cassie and Olivier enjoying their happily ever, she can't tear her eyes away. And Cassie makes their antics easy to follow as she reveals every detail of their picture-perfect trip on social media. Taylor's obsession builds as she tracks their every move. This was the kind of life she was supposed to be living, this was the marriage she should have had, this was the honeymoon she dreamed of.
The illusion is shattered when she overhears a heated argument between Cassie and Olivier, which reveals that they're not the lovestruck couple they pretend to be. But Cassie and Olivier have agendas of their own and Taylor can't see the danger in getting in the middle of this until it's too late. And now, no one will get out of Paris unscathed.

Okay Anne, we need to meet, and I need to ask you all the questions!!! This book....just phenomenal! I could not put it down. I loved it! Page by page I was just devouring it and could not wait to see how it was going to end. But then I was sad it was over. Thank you for the fantastic read!

If you love a good scene locked room mystery, you are going to devour this book! I loved the characters, and the plot is twisty and addictive. Highly recommended.

Wow - what a great read - edge of the seat all the way. stayed up reading this half the night. excellent plot and so many twists - highly recommended.

You know those books that grab you from the first sentence and don’t let you go until you’ve turned the last page? This was it for me. I kept wondering why I cared so much what happened to these characters, because they’re so amoral and unprincipled and simply disgusting. They cheat, steal and possibly even murder. I could only root for Taylor. She is not perfect but at least was not as despicable as the other two POV narrators, Cassie and Olivier. These two got married for the wrong reasons, and are in Paris for their honeymoon. They seem too good to be true and you soon learn that they are. I had no idea who Taylor was or how she would fit in with the other protagonists, but she is also in Paris, has a lot of cash and seems to have no plan. I liked the twists, including a big reveal in the middle that I didn’t see coming. I reread a few of the earlier chapters after learning the twist and everything made sense under the new information. I may be the outlier five-star review here but I really enjoyed this read.
