"The Cornish Castle Murder” the 8th instalment in The Nosey Parker Cozy Mystery series by Fiona Leitch. I cannot get enough of this series, if you love mysteries set in England this is for you! I love visiting Cornwall and Jodie, Daisy, and her mum but let’s not forget about Germaine the Pomeranian! This time we are attending the wedding of Josie and Nathan, what could go wrong with a bunch of off duty policeman around. Could the murderer be on the guest list?

The mystery was really interesting, well plotted, and had just enough twists to keep you engrossed and wanting to know what happens next. I really hope there will be a book 9 coming out soon, as I can’t get enough of this series.

I recommend this book to all my cozy lover friends.

I requested and received an Advanced Readers Copy from Harper Collins UK. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is an amazing book, just buy it, and sit back and enjoy the ride. A massive five shiny stars from me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've devoured the previous books in this series and this was no different!
Our resident nosy parker, Jodie is all set for her dream wedding to Nathan, except it's like cases seem to follow her wherever she goes, and a murder on the first night ends up with their wedding as a sideshow to an investigation, because, quite frankly neither Jodie, nor Nathan, can stop themselves!
This is another great read, though. It's always fun to catch up with all the characters in a series.
There were certainly some twists and turns throughout the story, and there was lots packed into what was essentially just a few days in the story.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Harper Collins, One More Chapter, for an ARC.

Another excellent book from Fiona Leitch. I have loved this series of books and was excited to read the next instalment.
It’s time to celebrate Nathan’s and Jodie’s wedding and everyone is joining them at a lovely hotel. As usual a murder isn’t far away and the investigations begin in true nosey Parker style. Great to see the relationships between characters grown and develop. And can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Most people suffer from wedding day jitters, worrying about the catering, the speeches, and, of course, what the weather will be like! Unfortunately, for Jodie Parker and her fiancé DCI Nathan Withers the discovery of a dead body has to be added to their list of concerns!  With a vested interest in the investigation, Nathan can't be involved but that doesn't make a difference to Jodie or the rest of her detecting friends! As they begin their own enquiry it seems not all of their guests can account for their whereabouts and before long they aren't just looking to save the wedding but making sure everyone invited is able to attend.

Book eight in this laugh out loud series is a little different in that the investigation takes place alongside the much anticipated nuptials of the two main protagonists! I thoroughly enjoyed the way the background preparations and the relationship between Josie, her mum, and daughter, Daisy, were interwoven with the more serious aspects of the storyline. I was convinced I had the mystery solved on more than one occasion when in reality I didn't have a clue!

I was able to read an advanced copy of this thanks to NetGalley and the publishers, Harper Collins UK, One More Chapter, but the opinions expressed are my own. I thoroughly enjoyed this, and the chocolate cake recipe at the end sounds yummy.
