If Merouac ever thought his life's work would culminate in leading the metal workshops of the Transcontinental Railroad Project, he was sorely mistaken. In her world creation, Jordan combines the gritty, mechanical practical world of building an essential railway while also reaching into mystical realms. Into explorations of consciousness, reality and perception. While typically patriarchal power struggles and manipulations occur, the deeper widsoms live in the women, gifted children and the more attuned among the men. While the worlds she creates appear alien to ours, they reflect some of the deep issues and concerns for our lives here on planet earth in creative and though-provoking ways.

Bitroux by Jordan Harcourt-Hughes is so good. I loved this story so much. I totally recommend everyone to read this book as fast as they can because it's really good and the characters are fantastic.

I liked this book! It was different from what I normally read, and the premise was great and also the execution is great! I did like the characters and the themes of this book

This was a really well done novel, it had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed the concept of this book. Jordan Harcourt-Hughes has a strong writing style and was able to create characters that I was looking for. It had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed in this genre.
