“As a young working mom, I counted the hours I spent with my daughter, looking for a formula of good parenting. What I wouldn't have given for this book to talk some sense into me. Down-to-earth, honest, bursting with helpfulness, and so very loving, this is the book I will give at every baby shower I attend. I wish every new mother had a copy."

—Jennifer Louden, best-selling author, retreat leader, internationally renowned coach

As a mother of three children, each a year apart, I have been searching for an easy to use book to help me work through the day-to-day goals and struggles faced by new and experienced mothers. I have read many books about how to be a good mother to my children but could not find anything to help me figure out how to make my life as a mother work for me too. Well, I finally have—Rachel Egan’s book, New Mom New Woman.”

This book was really helpful to me. I'm due with our first baby at the end of this year and this book really helped me feel more prepared for what's going to come after she's born. I now have some techniques that my husband and I can use to create a happy and healthy family that will work for us.

A great book for an expecting or new mom, or anyone else. Smart, simple ideas to help one realize they are not alone. I will definitely be passing along the title to families with whom I work with.

A pretty good, quick read. I really liked the section about redefining successes. "Look, baby: Mommy took a shower today!"

New Mom, New Woman all around was an enjoyable read. For someone that was given most of the facts up front about becoming a new mother and then becoming a mom again while having a toddler was a bit more of an eye opener it was not that difficult. Now this book in my opinion is a great read for moms to be or even moms again to read. The way Rachel Egan informs you of things is open and as if you were sitting down to a cup of coffee (or tea) and being explained things blunt and to the point. Let's face it, we has moms and even for dads, need the open context and blunt. I will greatly advice mothers to this guide when coming into my store, as it is refreshing from so many other information guides. It doesn't pretend it knows everything and believes this is exactly what you need to do.
