Sophie Lark doesn’t write a bad book and that’s a hill I’m willing to die on. I’ve had Sparrow and Vine on preorder since Sophie announced it, but when the opportunity presented itself to me to arc read it.. I applied immediately. If you’re someone who loves messy family drama, rivalry, secrets, spice, and marriage of convenience - look no further.
Sadie Sparrow and Monroe Beaumont get married in hopes of saving Sparrow & Vine Vineyard from being sold. The biggest problem? They’ve been rivals their entire life, neither of their families approve of the marriage, and they’re both inconveniently secretly really attracted to each other and now have to share a bed. The drama, the angst, the tension, and the spice are RICH. I ate this up and while it is a different side of Sophie Lark, it was so good and I cannot wait for more in the Sparrow & Beaumont world.

I cannot wait for my preorder to arrive and to add Sparrow and Vine to my Sophie Lark shelf. Also, I’m so excited for Love and Madness, and Hearts and Thorns to release later this year. I think the siblings all have a story to tell, and I can’t express my excitement enough.
