Description
CJ is leading the neighborhood cleanup. But his ADHD makes it too easy for distractions keep him from picking up litter. CJ follows a plan to stay on task and takes a break just in time to see a disaster unfolding. Can he help in time?
For ages 5-7. From the new CJ Baker, Mover and Shaker series. Tag along with CJ Baker . . . if you can keep up! This always-active, ever-curious second grader turns ordinary days into extraordinary experiences. Whether leading a neighborhood cleanup or saving his soccer team, CJ’s imaginative, mile-a-minute mind sometimes makes accomplishing (or scoring) goals uniquely challenging. But with supportive friends, a loving family (including his loyal dog Tank), and clever strategies, CJ always weaves his way back to the right path—even if it’s often the one less taken. With fast-paced text, humor, and exciting illustrations, this early chapter book series showcases the strengths and struggles of a boy with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) through everyday stories sure to keep young learners hyperfocused until the very end.
