I have to say, little Finn does his best to steal the show in this story. He is adorable, and the way both Zane and Trinity care for him is admirable.
Zane and Trinity have instant, sizzling connection, attraction, and pull between them. They fight it with for a long time, both for their own reasons. Zane is weary to trust anyone after the cards life has dealt to him, his disappointments both with Finn's mom and his own parents has taught him not to trust anyone. Trinity can't believe that the determined, stubborn cowboy could be her Mr right. It just doesn't fit for what she had had in her mind. The summer in Montana is at its best, lots of events from the farm are pulled into the story, fitted in well with the development of the relationship. Another big part of the story is Finn, his adjustment to school come fall, and the care and love Zane and Trinity has for him. Also, some of the drama and trouble from both of their childhood are handled in a very positive, good manner. The end drama brought tears in my eyes, mainly because of Finn. Overall the story was really nice, rather light and fast read, that I found enjoyable

Fantastic read! Zane Nash has been dealt a tough life. Abandoned by his mother, an abusive father, and a girlfriend that ran off with his brother. So he's given up on life off his ranch except when it comes to his son Finn. For him he'll do anything. After Finn lost his mother he stopped talking. To help him Zane recruits local speech therapist Trinity Redfern to help him. Turns out she can help Zane too!

This is a wonderfully written story that left me with a huge smile on my face. I highly recommend this one.

I loved Her Big Sky Cowboy! It is beautifully written with nicely developed characters. There's Trinity, who has escaped from the city and her father's plans to marry her off. She is looking for Mr Right on her own terms and she wants to develop her career as a speech therapist. The one time she met Zane she could feel the zing of connection but he just doesn't fit the bill when it comes to what she thinks she's looking for. As for Zane, well, he's determined to keep women out of his equation after a string of betrayals from key women in his life and despite a strong attraction to Trinity he'll do anything he can think of to take his mind off her. Finally we have Finn, a cute five year old and Zane's son, who rarely speaks. As a speech therapist, Trinity is determined to get Finn talking but at the same time she can't help falling for the little boy, and despite her best intentions she can't help but also feel the spark whenever she is anywhere near his father. The story is touching and sweet without being sickly. All in all a gorgeous story!

Another great book about Montana with both male and female leads strong, yet with a gentle heart. Secrets and old wounds come to light and are healed.

This is a heartwarming love story, set in the beautiful state of Montana. A cowboy who can't trust and a beautiful woman who never could make her family happy with her choices are thrown together to help a little boy who lost his parents and his speech.

Trinity Redfern is a speech therapist who loves working with children. Her little sister had a severe stutter as a child and Trinity was constantly defending her. Now she wants to help others. Her parents are unhappy with her occupation, and her move to Montana. She runs a small summer camp for local children and Finn Nash is one of her campers. His parents died suddenly not too long ago, he is living with his uncle Zane. Finn has had a lot of difficulty speaking and is seeing a psychologist for grief and anxiety. He has developed a special relationship with Trinity and is speaking a few words with her.

Zane Nash is a strong, silent cowboy. He loves Finn with all his heart, but trust is a huge issue for him. His father was hard and cruel, his Mom left when he was a child and his girlfriend left with his brother and had a baby. Zane had not seen Finn in almost five years, but now as his guardian he was trying to help Finn as much as he possibly could. Zane sees the progress Finn is exhibiting with Trinity, and asks her to stay at the ranch until school starts. He is very attracted to her and he knows she feels the same, but they are both holding back. Zane cannot resolve his trust issues.

This story was so charming! A love story with puppies and little boy's and secrets. Proof that what you hear, even from what should be a reliable source, is not always true and can be life changing. I highly recommend this novel, and will be looking for more stories by this author. Pat Fordyce

Okay…am now totally smitten by the Wildflower Ranch Series by Alissa Callen, and this is only my second read of hers. Under the big skies of Montana, Alissa Callen packs quite an intoxicating punch of charm and charisma. Be it her wonderful characters, with such big hearts and care, or the story itself seeped in emotions of love and trust.

Speech therapist Trinity Redfern is running a summer program for youngsters, and Finn Nash is one of her favorites, along with his father Zane Nash. With a heart as big as the Montana sky, Trinity is one of the most lovable characters I have come across. Warm, friendly, caring and yet assertive is how she keeps her students in line, but when it comes to her personal Mr. Right, he seems to be just elusive to her. And Mr. Wrong just doesn’t seem to leave her alone.

The reserved and sexy Zane Nash is thrown a curve ball, when he becomes an instant father to Finn, a responsibility he takes seriously as running his successful ranch. But Finn and Zane have a lot to catch up on, as five-year-old Finn is not very talkative and has become withdrawn. Zane starts relying more and more on Trinity, as Finn starts opening himself to Trinity, little realizing that opening his heart would also be a balm to his hurting heart and can be very fulfilling.

All I can say is Alissa Callen has really, really put her heart and soul in creating Zane and Trinity. Simple, warm, caring and just two beautiful people, trying to sort the ripples of emotion they create with each other, and find the trust and confidence to be with each other.

Loaded in sentiment, brimming with some painful yet a sweet past, with surprises and twists, and visiting with some of the charismatic Montana friends, “Her Big Sky Cowboy” is just as precious as “Her Mistletoe Cowboy”.

And now it’s time for me to catch up with the other sexy cowboys and their intended sassy women that Alissa has created including Payton and Cordell (Cherish Me, Cowboy, Wildflower Ranch 1). I sure hope there are more love stories coming to the wonderful inmates of the Wildflower Ranch Series.

We are back in Marietta, Montana where ranches are named after wildflowers. This time we are at the Hollyhock Creek Ranch with its taciturn owner Zane Nash.

Zane could have continued his quiet life wherein saying a few words a day is the norm but that changed when speech therapist Trinity Fern entered his life.

Teaching five-year-old Finn Nash to speak again after a traumatic experience, Trinity was around Hollyhock Creek Ranch a lot. And Zane finds himself talking more just to spend time with Trinity.

And though they cannot deny the attraction they have for each other, Trinity thinks of Zane as Mr. Wrong. On the other hand, Zane whose heart had been broken twice already believes that women cannot be trusted.

For Zane and Trinity, words are not enough to reach their happily ever after. Unfortunately, words are all they have. Or, are they?

Her Big Sky Cowboy is Rated T for Teens due to some adult situations.

A short sweet story of Zane, who has had a difficult life, abusive father, ex girlfriend who ends up marrying his brother and now raising Finn. Finn lost his parents ( Zane's brother and ex girlfriend) and now talks very little. Zane has hired Trinity, speech therapist, for the summer to help Finn. There is an attraction but Zane does not fit what Trinity is looking for in a man. Things begin to change as they get to know each other.
I really enjoyed the interaction between these two characters. This is a clean story. Love Marietta, Montana!

I truly can not get enough of Marietta Montana, I have fallen in love with this town and this book lets you catch up with Marietta again. Zane is running from him self and Trinity has a heart for kids and her love for Finn in the book feels so real. The book makes you feel like you are reading a letter from a family member from home. The book is not about sex or does not have strong language which is really nice. I love the the sweet love story and that the story is simple and sweet and not just love all the other romance books out there. Such a fun read.

This was a very sweet romance. Trinity is a speech therapist who is helping Zane's son Finn talk again after the death of his mother. Zane has issues trusting women after he's been burned before but Trinity is kind and patient and really good with Finn. This was a slow-building, clean romance. I enjoyed this book and recommend it for anyone who is looking for a sweet romance.

3.5 All About the Trust Factor Stars * * * 1/2

When we are little, we first learn about trusting something will be there for us in many different ways.... it could be the first time we reach out to a hard surface... and try to pull ourselves up to stand... or as we try to learn how to walk...We try to gauge if we have the right measurement and feel the next place to put our hands... holding bit by bit...

And as children we transfer the need to know things are there to support us to people... mothers, fathers and then eventually those we give our hearts to... We trust... we believe they will always be there...and when they aren't...when they turn away or lie or betray...insurmountable damage is done.

This is a story which examines this betrayal of trust... and whether a man disappointed by all the women in his life can overcome this hurt and open his heart.

It was a story with heart, focus and a natural feel. Another easy read from the WildFlower Ranch series.

Excellent story. Well-written, enjoyable, makes you sigh at the end because it is over. Trinity is a speech therapist who is working with a young boy, Finn, who has come to stay with his real father, Zane, after Finn's parents pass away. Zane is very closed off and has been hurt from the past, but Trinity is just a gentle soul that brings him out of his shell. Wonderful story and cannot wait to read the previous stories.

for this book. The best part? It worked as a stand alone. Some do, some don't - this one nailed it.

This book had a twist I hadn't read before... a speech therapist, so I was interested to see how it would be handled. And I think the author did a good job with it. The romance between Trinity and Zane was more sweet than steamy, but that was okay since their courtship did involve a 5 year old.

Both Trinity and Zane had some issues that they had to work through to becoming a couple. Trinity's dealt with her future expectations in a mate. While Zane's dealt with his history with women, both his own and Finn's mother. I enjoyed this read and gave it 3 stars.

Thanks to Tule Publishing and Netgalley for the opportunity to review it.

This was a sweet romance about a very head strong young lady and a hot cowboy trying to overcome the past and keep his heart from getting broken again and the little boy who just wants happiness. I enjoyed reading this book and recommend it to anyone looking for a great romance without all the sex scenes.

Trinity Redfern is a speech therapist who really enjoys working at Summer Camps with children. This year she’s met five year old Finn whilst doing so. He’s a delightful, loving little lad but he’s had a traumatic time and is now very reluctant to speak. He relates well to Trinity and loves having hugs from her.

Finn is living with his Uncle - Zane Nash. When she saw him at a bonfire last year she’d been instantly attracted but both had avoided meeting the other. This time he comes to pick up Finn from camp and the attraction is mutual but also mutually ignored! Zane has had lots of trauma in his life, too and is known for being taciturn, quiet and reclusive - and he’s now brining up Finn! Zane has also been let down so many times that he now has problems trusting others, especially women.

To help Finn, Trinity agrees to spend the summer on Zane’s ranch but will the two be able to resist their mutual attraction? Can Trinity breakdown the robust barriers Zane has built to protect himself and his heart? Will he prove to be her Mr Right, after all? Can he trust her and find the words to make her stay?

Another Montana born book that is a delicious, sweet read with complex characters interacting and lots of twist and turns on the road to true love to put obstacles in their way. A great book to escape into - light, easy reading with lots of heart.

I really enjoyed the characters in this book and I mean every single one of them. The story features Zane, a sexy, loner who just found out he has a son. He is very bitter and lacks trust.

He meets Trinity, the speech therapist who is working for Zane and his son. He tries to resist, she tries to resist. They fall in love but both think they are mr and mrs wrong.

It was a fun, light read. I just felt the lack of trust issue and refusing to give into the attraction took WAY too long. Some areas transitions of scenes where weird but overall I enjoyed the story.

Her Big Sky Cowboy is the third book in The Wildflower Ranch series and I really enjoyed reading it.

Trinity Redfern is looking for her perfect match but fate has other plans and it looks like Mr. wrong will end u being her Mr. right.

Zane Nash doesn't trust many people, especially women but when he first meet Trinity he feels a strong connection to her but he's not willing to risk his heart and trust her.

Zane needs to take care of his 5 year old nephew Finn and since Finn goes to a camp run by Trinity they end up spending time together and get to know one another.

Can Trinity make Zane trust her in order for them to have a real future together?

I enjoyed reading about Zane, Trinity and Finn. I loved how Zane was willing to do everything he could in order to help Finn to talk again and be a hay kid.

Her Big Sky Cowboy was a well written story and I enjoyed reading about characters from previous books in the series.

Zane Nash (and yes, love the name) has issues. No really, you think you have issues? Zane's will top them, I promise. His mother's abandonment, his horrid father, his faithless girlfriend, and his back-stabbing (view spoiler) brother combine to leave a man who has pretty much no faith in humanity. I mean, with a family like that, who needs humanity? Ouch!

But fate has conspired to give him one good thing, a little boy named Finn. And Finn gets all of Zane's love, whatever scraps his heart has left after all that go to Finn. But Finn has issues too: notably his parents' deaths. So, he's not a talker; which given Zane's own lack of loquaciousness, makes things a bit difficult.

Enter Trinity. She's got this great summer camp and it's really helping Finn. And Zane. Trinity's crazy for Finn and she's got her eyes on Zane. But he's not budging. But Trinity's got skillz, primarily her heart overflowing with love and her boundless curiosity. When Zane gets Trinity to his ranch, can he keep her there? Does he even want to? Well, yes, actually.

When Trinity's curiosity opens up doors long closed, can she heal all the wounded hearts? Well, yes, actually.

A sweet and gentle read that will make you sigh, but no sexy times.
