Lia Davis definitely picked up the pace in A Leopard's Path.

This is a well written story that continues the plight of the Ashwood pack and also focuses on the problems caused by deception and dishonesty.

Totally looking forward to the next instalment in this series!

As a total coincidence I started reading the beginning of this series without realising that I was also reading this later book in the series.

WARNING - you will be sucked in if you start reading this series; each book is unique, has amazingly interesting characters and a plot which develops a little more in each book.................its an awesome series!

Returning to Ashwood Falls is always an enjoyable journey. This ongoing, multi-branched series always delights with a steamy, intense full pack involvement style of paranormal romance. Shifters, one and all – and every single one of them has their own story both told and untold.

Now the Ashwood Falls series is ongoing and somewhat connected. It is possible to pick up A Leopard’s Path and enjoy it completely as a stand alone or introduction to the series. But… much like a true pack, whose lives are intertwined with all of the other members of the pack – so is Ashwood Falls to some degree. You do not have to start at the beginning (Winter Eve, the prequel or A Tiger’s Claim #1) but you will get the overall story and might not be confused with pack members being tossed into conversations. Besides, if you love shifters to start with, then reading this series from the beginning is pretty natural, right?

Ana and Kieran are mates – well, they each know the other is their mate but there are secrets each is holding on to and that is preventing their true, complete mating. Ana has only recently been reunited with her family, having been stolen away as baby. She has powers and abilities that she has not yet mentioned to her mate or her pack. Kieran has secrets too. Ones he will do anything to prevent Ana from discovering. How can a true, fully mated life between these two be possible with so many lies scattered around? Especially when terror is about to descend upon them all once again.

A Leopard’s Path is another excellent addition to this ongoing series. Full of intrigue, magic, shifters, hot Alpha men and women, strong sex drives and deep life long love – this one has it all. Highly recommended for Paranormal lovers, Romance lovers and definitely anyone who loves combining the two. The action is fast paced, the characters believable and just plain fun to get to know and the steam rises pretty hot between Ana and Kieran.

If you enjoy anything paranormal, give this one a try. I’m thinking you’ll be hooked and enjoy every minute.

*I received an e-ARC of A Leopard’s Path from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

Great Series!
I love this series; this is the fifth book in the Ashwood Falls series by Lia Davis, and this book is just as good as the other books in this series. It is best if you read the other books in this series first so that you know all of the characters. Ana was stolen from her family as an infant and is trying to piece together her life. Kieran is trying to keep his past a secret. Kieran wants Ana as his mate but knows it will never happen if his past comes out. If you are looking for a great paranormal shifter story then you need to read this book and series. I can’t wait until the next book comes out. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Felix Darwin is Alpha of the Onyx Pack. Over 50% of his pack was destroyed. His daughter and most of the other survivors fled like traitors. The council of the elders had captured his mate and hid her from Felix for 200 years. Felix's mate Savannah was half dark witch and half leopard. She was the most powerful female Felix knew. Zorana's, or Ana, brother was Blaine, the Alpha of the Ashwood Falls pack. Luna had merged her wolf pack with the leopards over 30 years ago. Savannah was evil incarnate and with Felix by her side life on Earth would be horrible. Savannah was awake and Felix freed her. Ana's mate is Kieren and he was a trained spy. Ana still felt like an outsider but still helped the pack in any way she could. She loved her family and pack. Most of all, she loved Kieran but they both had walls to let down. She was loyal, kind and true. She was strong and a good person. I liked her character. Kieran knew Ana was his mate but hadn't yet bonded with her. He is very loyal and cares for his pack. He is strong and protective of Ana. I like how he was portrayed in the twists and turns of the plot. I enjoyed this story and would recommend it to anyone.
