I hope I don't have to make personal use of this book anytime soon, but it's almost inevitable that the day will come someday; and I'll be glad to have read this book - and I'll read it again. There is so much valuable information in this book for a widow, not the least being an anchor and the feeling of a friend showing the way in unfamiliar territory.
One of the most helpful aspects of the book is the inclusion of interviews with widows of every age and circumstance. It helps to hear their stories - to know others understand how you are feeling.
With a whole generation of baby-boomers reaching old age and inevitable death, this is a book that will be of help to many.

Though I am not a widow I found this book to have a wealth of information. I have recommended it to a few friends who have suffered the loss of a spouse.
