Katja Piel was born in Kelkheim, Germany. She worked for over sixteen years in IT before publishing her first book in The Hunter series in 2012. Her fantasy trilogy, The Kiss of the She-Wolf (Kuss der Wölfin), was an Amazon bestseller in 2013. Piel currently lives with her husband and child in Rodgau in Hesse, Germany.
