Description
Why make chickpea flour your new go-to? Because everyone—gluten-free or not—will find a reason to love it. This versatile alternative to wheat flour shines in savory and sweet dishes alike. It’s been used for centuries around the world, and is famous in Nice, France, where the flatbread socca is enjoyed with a chilled glass of rosé.
In this gorgeously photographed cookbook, Lindsey S. Love takes inspiration from her favorite seasonal ingredients, global flavors, and much-loved family recipes to create vibrant gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian dishes where chickpea flour is the star. Gluten-free diners especially will be amazed by the variety—nothing’s off the table anymore, and taste is never sacrificed. Plus, many recipes are vegan—taking advantage of chickpea flour as a base for vegan sauces and a soy-free alternative to tofu.
Lindsey’s inventive recipes meld sophisticated and subtle flavors—and beg to be shared with friends and family at any time of the year!

With a variety of recipes and tantalizing photos accompanying them, this book is an excellent alternative to the overwhelming number of almond flour recipes. While there is less mixing of gluten free flours than in other similar cookbooks, some recipes do require another flour in addition to chickpea. Definitely recommend.
Chickpea Flour Does It All is filled with delicious-looking recipes that are gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian without sacrificing taste. The book is organized by months of the year, concentrating on seasonality.
Recipes range from those that ring familiar with a touch of extra excitement (Chewy Olive Oil Chocolate Chip Cookies with Pink Himalayan Salt) to those to be eaten everyday (Hearty Morning Glory Loaf) to the intriguingly challenging (Stuffed Squash Blossoms with Macadamia Ricotta).
The cooking directions are straightforward and easy to understand for people of all cooking skill-levels, which really increases the appeal. A home cook who is new to cooking gluten-free or vegetarian could easily accomplish most of these recipes.
Appealing photographs underscore that cooking gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian can be delicious, nutritious and exciting. I love the look of this book, and have already marked over 30 recipes to try! *If I have any issues with the execution of any of these recipes, I will update my review.*
Interesting recipes, very innovative, for those who want not only vegetarian, but gluten and dairy-free food. The range of recipes is impressive, too. Not just bread, but soups, tofu, macadamia ricotta, stuffed vegetables, various non-dairy cheeses, and salads. Recommended.
This recipe book has gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian recipes for many different occasions.
The book is divided into the months of the year to showcase seasonal ingredients. The diversity of the recipes is amazing : from chickpea waffle avocado toast, to almond butter brownies to ratatouille tartlets. The author introduces the book and explains how her journey led her to using chickpea flour, and also includes different ways it can be utilised. I personally didn't realise that a flour could be so versatile. The most beautiful colour photos accompany the recipes and the layout of each recipe is easy to read and follow. A list of recipes in the beginning of the book as well as an index at the end allows you to find your recipe or ingredient choice with ease.
An absolutely indispensable book and highly recommended.

WOW! What an amazing fun learning experience! So many wonderful tips and recipes! I cant wait to start trying them all out!
Since having to go gluten free for medical reasons I am always happy to find new cook books. Some of the gluten free flour leaves a grainy texture in baked goods. So i was happy to find out this book contains recipes for entrees to deserts. i had no idea chickpea flour was this versatile. I tried several of the recipes my favorite being chickpea frites. If you are going gluten free for any reason this book is a must.
This book is great. The recipes sound tasty and the pictures are beautiful and appetizing. I appreciate the variety of gluten free recipes from soup to nuts. Keeping to the seasonal calendar is awesome. Cherry Dutch Baby season is coming! This book has given me so many ideas. Thank you.
what a delicious cookbook, informative. easy to read .great pictures and delicious recipes . I love how the book is organised by months of the year so I can also use what is in season I will absolutely be buying this to add to my collection
I've always been a fan of chickpea flour, but haven't been aware of so many different ways to use it! This book is changing that, and packing me full of protein while it's at it. I've only made a few things so far, but they've been outstanding. I love how sophisticated the recipes are, yet they're still easy to make. You can tell the author really put a lot of thought into each of them. The photos are beautiful and the design is outstanding. It's a really impressive cookbook.
