Excellent resource book.
This book is chock full of information on planting, protecting, using and preserving the produce from your garden. There was information new to me, even though I've had a garden for over 30 years.
Written clear and concise with solutions to many garden pests and problems.
Beautiful pictures and tasty recipes fill the pages.
I am adding this to my list of appropriate gifts for various occasions. I am sure the receivers will be thrilled with it.
Homegrown Pantry by Barbara Pleasant is a comprehensive how to for gardener's. The book is full of tips on how to grow, how much to grow per person, and how to harvest and store a wide variety of veggies, fruits and herbs. The book also includes lovely photos and some recipes thrown in, too. This would make a great gift for anyone, and should be a staple in home libraries!
