Undulation shows that all "exercise" does not have to be difficult or time consuming.
I like this book as you will be able to read and implement this book''s information in a piecemeal fashion as you work through it. As an inflexible person (physically) this is what I have been needing.

An excellent book of useful exercises. The title makes these sound rather new-agey, hipsterish even, but they are seriously good, Easy to fit into a busy lifestyle, needing no equipment at all, I tried out all the ones that involved sitting in a chair, and found that after running through them just once I felt more supple, and my neck, which had been troubling me, had eased considerably. I would recommend this book to anyone who sometimes feel as if their neck is sinking into their spine.

I want to thank Netgalley and the publisher for an opportunity to review this book.

I was drawn to this book because title intrigued me. First off, I have never heard the word “undulate” before. I looked it up and it means to “move with a smooth wavelike motion”. I liked the sound of that. And secondly, I am 60 years old and starting to feel my age so the idea of relieving the stiffness and the stress brought on by that was one that really appealed to me.

I immediately resonated with the author’s beginning instructions. Any exercise program is intimidating to me so I appreciated that she understood that we need to start easy and set realistic expectations. I loved her explanation of “pain” and how she made me understand the importance of not ignoring it. Throughout the book she reminds us to be patient and to pay careful attention to each movement and how it makes our body feel. I have started slowly with the exercises and am enjoying them quite a bit. They are completely doable for me. Her instructions are clear and concise and the illustrations are very helpful.

I am really excited that I discovered this little gem and my hope is to increase my “personal range of motion and ease”. I would recommend it to beginners like me or anyone looking for an accompaniment to their exercise regime. It has already become a valuable resource that I will be using for quite some time.

Having never heard the word, undulation, I was not clear about the book topic initially. After taking time to read the book, however, I am excited to share the book and the exercises with colleagues and friends.

Useful for rehabilitation, mobility restoring, decrease chronic pain!
I spend many hours sitting in front of the computer, and although I do daily Qigong and exercise, there are times that have body ache. In my youth I suffered a motorcycle accident and since then I have chronic pain in my neck and waist.
This book has been very illustrative for me, with simple movements I can mobilize my entire spine and relax my waist, neck and shoulders, and get rid of the pain! I am constantly looking to improve my quality of life and this book has provided me with valuable information to develop more health and body awareness.
In addition to the aforementioned benefits, mobility also plays a part in the development of intelligence, maintains brain health and delays the onset of conditions such as Azhaimer, memory loss. We are creatures that evolve in movement and another gift that you get from practicing the undulation movement is a generalized pleasant sensation!
It is a book suitable for health professionals and all people, whether they are only interested in sustaining their physical health, or who have pain due to injuries, age, sedentary lifestyle, a job that requires spending a lot of time sitting or standing, ... excellent for regaining joint mobility!
My gratitude to the Publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to review the book
