Description
You don’t have to turn to food in difficult times. Well Nourished shows you how to develop a mindful relationship with food as you nourish yourself emotionally.
There is much more to nourishing yourself than simply eating food. After a long day of feeling run down and exhausted, what you’re likely really hungering for are other forms of nourishment. Well Nourished is here to show you how to live a life where you can feel nourished emotionally, intellectually, physically, psychologically, spiritually, socially, and creatively.
This is your chance to be mindfully present as you receive, experience, and engage in the nourishing activities and moments that will sustain you on levels other than what your stomach is telling you. You will learn to maintain an inner sense of balance and nourishment even when the waters of life are pitching you around like a ship in a storm. Well Nourished gives you the tools and practices to accomplish all of this when you might otherwise turn to food in these difficult times. Discover:

A really good and thoughtful book if you are receptive to it. I don't think it will appeal to all overeaters and those with food issues but it will strike a chord with some. It is gentle, contemplative and energising. You need to engage your brain and spirit to immerse yourself in the process. Everything is geared towards slowing down and getting to the nitty gritty of the problem.. Even if you don't embrace everything there should be something positive or an exercise or tool that appeals to you. A book that definitely enables the reader to feel better just for the reading of it.
A ton of well thought out information packed into this book. I really loved the workbook aspect of it. Certainly useful in my life right now.
This book was very interesting and helpful. I really liked the part about analyzing your triggers.
A nice book about concentrating on being mindful about your wellness while eating and learning to slow down.
A very helpful workbook to teach any reader easily how to develop a better relationship with food and enjoy eating while being mindful. This is a good addition to any self help library and for anyone that needs to improve upon their eating habits. The format is pleasurable to read and easy to follow suggestions were appreciated. Well done. The primary key to the practice is to slow down and the author teaches the reader how to slow down and appreciate preparation and eating in a new healthy way.
