Heartwarming but sad, this book will make you hold onto your children just a bit tighter. Author is very honest about how he and his family coped with the death of their son.
Superb book.
Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free, it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.
What a beautifully written journey, and let me just start by saying I am ever so sorry for your loss.
I downloaded this book because the beginning of this year we had a series of bereavements in the family. 3 within a short space of time. This book showed me all the feelings I’m feeing are completely normal and the authors way with words is extremely comforting.
This is a must read for anyone experiencing such sadness.
Heartbreaking story of a family who has lost a son. I found this book beautifully written and it showed the family unbelievable strength and courage through their grief. Also showing that they never once questioned their faith and why God had put them through such a tragedy. I read this in one sitting. Once I finished the book I found myself feeling a sense of warmth towards the family and how they have gone forward in their lives.
