Description
"Like your favorite song, More Than Maybe burrows inside your heart and stays there. Vada and Luke's story of music, family, and first love will shoot to the top of your book playlist. A rich, sweet, rock and roll ride." - Kathleen Glasgow, New York Times bestselling author of Girl in Pieces and How to Make Friends With the Dark
Growing up under his punk rocker dad’s spotlight, eighteen-year-old Luke Greenly knows fame and wants nothing to do with it. His real love isn’t in front of a crowd, it’s on the page. Hiding his gift and secretly hoarding songs in his bedroom at night, he prefers the anonymous comfort of the locally popular podcast he co-hosts with his outgoing and meddling, far-too-jealousy-inspiringly-happy-with-his-long-term-boyfriend twin brother, Cullen. But that’s not Luke’s only secret. He also has a major un-requited crush on music blogger, Vada Carsewell.
Vada’s got a five year plan: secure a job at the Loud Lizard to learn from local legend (and her mom’s boyfriend) Phil Josephs (check), take over Phil’s music blog (double check), get accepted into Berkeley’s prestigious music journalism program (check, check, check), manage Ann Arbor’s summer concert series and secure a Rolling Stone internship. Luke Greenly is most definitely NOT on the list. So what if his self-deprecating charm and out of this world music knowledge makes her dizzy? Or his brother just released a bootleg recording of Luke singing about some mystery girl on their podcast and she really, really wishes it was her?
In More Than Maybe, Erin Hahn’s swooniest book yet, Luke and Vada must decide how deep their feelings run and what it would mean to give love a try.

Oh my heart, my heart! MORE THAN MAYBE had me cheering and dancing right along with the characters and left the biggest trail of happy tears down my face. I didn't think it was possible to top YOU'D BE MINE, but Hahn's sophomore book has me longing for my days in Ann Arbor and super upset I never met my Luke there!
This book doesn’t come out until May, but I couldn’t wait to read it. I absolutely loved the cover and the premise. I loved both Luke and Vada. (I couldn’t help but think of My Girl with that name. Am I dating myself, or what???) I absolutely loved that the book switched between the POV of Vada and Luke. All the music references and the way the author used songs was complete genius! I felt like I was just dancing right along with Vada! There were a few twists in the book, which had me not be able to put it down!
Bottom Line: Read this! It has been awhile since I really loved a YA, as it isn’t my typical genre. This was such a cute read, I was smiling throughout the whole thing and really bonded with the characters.

Oh my GOSH this book was so good! I loved You’d Be Mine and I was so super excited to get an ARC of More Than Maybe! And i just have to say Erin Hahn knows how to write a book that just sucks you in because I'm obsessed.
Ok so first off I have to admit that I basically live under a rock when it comes to music so I totally had to google pretty much all the song mentioned in this book *runs and hides* But despite my lack of musical knowledge this is such a fun read and I love how music was so important in this book.
This book has a wonderful set of character that just adds to how amazing this story. I love Meg and her colorful self and just thought her and Vada’s friendship is the best. Luke’s relationship with his twin brother Cullen is really awesome, kinda wish their podcast was real because I would listen to it. Luke’s best friend Zach is just great Luke just accepts the fact that Zach and Cullen are dating. Though its weird at times its just what’s normal to him Phil’s relationship as a mentor to Vada is so sweet and its so great how he stepped into into that father role Vada needed. Luke’s parents are great..even though his retired punk rocker dad drives him crazy sometimes!
I love Luke and Vada their relationship is just the cutest. I really like that it isn’t instant love from the beginning, even though it’s clear from the start that both characters have had feeling for each for a while. It was nice to see their relationship takes it time and happen so naturally and it just makes for the most adorable story.
Also where can I find myself a Luke? Ugh I just love him.
I highly recommend this book and it’s a wonderful read that will just suck you in and quickly become your new favorite!
