I went to a workshop on Akashic Records a few years ago so this was definitely up my alley. This book was informative without being too eccentric. I like that it included ways to protect your energy, which everyone should know how to do anyway! The connections to pop culture were great, and helped to normalize the idea of Akashic Records! Overall, this was an all encompassing guide on how to access the Akashic Records and would be great for a beginner!
A fresh look at how to learn what your souls purpose is. This book by Whitney Evans starts with an explanation of what the Akashic is and why its important. I found the theme to be positive and beneficial as well as the back up material. To start with clean psychic energy and thoughts impact anyones attempts t find meaning as well as learn about your place in the world. From there the ways to interact with the akashic are given as well as how reincarnation, spirit guides, and chakras are important. I found this book to be a really complete , simple and practical way to get started with Akashic material. One of the best books Ive ever read and am using to view the Akashic record and bring clarity to my life.
I am floored by the amount of information jam packed into this book. Diving in, I was anticipating an encyclopedia/wikipedia feel to it where the author just showcases facts about the Akashic Records that could be easily found via Google or any other general textbook.
Beside the general information on what is Akashic Records (obviously), there was a lot of useful things discussed—basic steps in reading, DCP (discover, cleanse, protect) energy, brief but informative segment on chakras, how to clear energy by cooperating grounding alongside other exercises into daily routine, clairs, how to strengthen third eye, and more.
‘The Beginner's Guide to the Akashic Records’ is a great source book that I know I will reference time and time again.
This book by Whitney Evans was just what I needed to begin to dip my toes in the waters of my Akashic Records. There was a lot to unpack in this book, but all understandable. I found myself rereading some sections several times, just to process that I now understood why things were happening or had happened the way they have in my life. The information and guidance for protecting energies and the explanation of chakras was much appreciated.
Wow...what a lot to unpack and digest in this book! I did find myself rereading many sections to ensure that I really comprehended the material. This was exactly what I needed to get my toes wet the subject so to speak.
This is a fascinating book. I knew a little about this topic but there were so many new things here to learn about. Quite down to earth, if you can believe it, and incredibly informative. Highly recommended.
The Beginner's Guide to the Akashic Records is an awesome primer and wonderfully useful book on the exploration of your own Akashic record. Whitney Jefferson Evans gives us in-depth and easy-to-follow steps to acquiring and any housekeeping efforts in maintaining your records.
When you get deep into some spiritual work, you may start hearing things like shadow working which basically means working with your metaphorical "demons". Clearing all the crud to create a new, better, more actualized person than you were before. Some of the aspects of that go further than just what is written in this lifetime. Sometimes you need to step back further into your soul's journey and look at shadow work along with your past lives' to the overall journey. Or sometimes you just want to know why you've always had a strange magnetic want to know things about pottery, or Ancient Rome, or who you've never had a bad experience with snakes but they make you nearly have a panic attack just thinking about them. The Beginner's Guide to the Akashic Records helps you start to understand and work with your soul's storyline.
As I mentioned, the book provides a lot of experiential advice, and workings (meditations and such) to find your own Akashic records. Also, the author provides the basic steps in reading, the DCP (discover, cleanse, protect) energy, information on chakras and cleansing, as well as grounding and other daily clearing and cleansing exercises to be more aware.
The Beginner's Guide to the Akashic Records is a great resource for those looking into their soul's journey and possibly looking into doing some shadow work.
