Lovely quick read. Passed out of her comfort zone by her sister, small town girl Kari is in the big city to complete an art commission when she inadvertently ends up covering Alex with blue paint, what an introduction, then she has to pose as his girlfriend, she gets sea sick on the boat and he is the perfect gentleman holding her hair back etc, True romance material, with laugh out loud points along the way.
One fine date by Susan Hatler.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved Martina Kari and Adrian. I love Susan's books. Great cover too. 5*.
Small-town, Kari Smith, has been commissioned to paint a mural in the city. She is out of her comfort zone and becomes very nervous, which makes for some interesting things to happen. She is invited to a party by the CFO, Adrian Maxwell, and she agrees to go. As she tries to find a place to hide, she enters a room with an amazing painting. The man who painted it enters and ask what she sees. As she loses herself in the painting, he makes a decision of what he wants to be done with the painting.
It is the journey of a small-town girl, and the things that happen when she tries the life of a city girl. There are lots of moments that happen that make this book interesting, sometimes comical, and the many things that happen along the way. Being a small-town girl myself, I enjoyed reading the book.
I received an ARC from Hatco Publishing through NetGalley.
Thank you NetGalley and Susan Hatler for the copy of One Fine Date. This is my personal review.
I adore books written by Susan Hatler. I pick them up and get lost in the book so quickly!
Kari and Adrian are perfect for each other even with totally different lifestyles. The path to their meeting was put into motion when Kari’s sister convinced her to do a job in Sacramento. Kari is a talented artist and this job was definitely out of her comfort zone because she is a small-town girl at heart.
Adrian was the head of the company where Kari was doing the mural painting. The first time they met will leave you chuckling.
The chemistry between Adrian and Kari just jumps off the page. I enjoyed every word of this book and cannot wait to read the next book in this series: Do-Over Date Series.
One Fine Date: A Sweet Second Chance Romance by Susan Hatler, published by Author Collective 20, is book eight in the Do-Over Date Series.

This is a sweet, opposites attract story that made me smile, gave all the feels, a beautiful romance, 4,5 stars.
