Was thrilled to get this book as I am Just researching becoming vegetarian then vegan. I found the book very helpful, well laid out and easy to read and understand. I’m really looking forward to trying some of the recipes. A great resource for the beginner. Will definitely purchase this book on its release date.
This is a well designed cookbook. I absolutely love that every recipe includes common allergen warnings and most recipes are accompanied with a photo of corresponding the dish.
While I have not had a chance to make many of the recipes just yet, I am confident (just based on what I know about cooking vegan cuisine myself as well as the few that I have tried) that some of these recipes are likely to become frequent go-tos in my house. I look forward to diving into this cookbook more and trying these recipes!
Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for providing an e-ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I eat a mainly vegetarian diet so I am looking for vegan recipes to add to my meals easily without having much experience of vegan cooking.
This is a very good book for beginning one's journey into vegan eating. The authors educate and explain - from what is in our food, to why we should be (or at least try to be) vegan, and how to get started with simple and easy food swaps. There are many very good recipes that do not require one to go to any specialty food store - and most importantly to me - are comprised of "real foods," as I do not like overly processed or fake foods. The recipes are all simple and have pictures - an important component to a cookbook (at least for me). There is no judgement in this book - even if you are not, nor plan to be, vegan, there are still some good recipes for everyone to enjoy.
The recipes are veggie-packed and include notes on gluten, soy, sugar, or salt. Great for anyone looking to add more plant-based recipes to their diet.
