A Note From the Publisher
Not all splatterpunk is created equal. Over the years, Blood Bound Books has curated a series of stories that encapsulates what we think represents the genre well. Our anthologies blend deep story-telling, alongside gratuitous violence and dark humor.
We believe in blood, guts, and story. Some of these stories might offend you. Some should make you laugh. All of them should make you think. But not too hard. They're just stories.
Advance Praise
Praise for the editor and authors:
"There's a new generation of horror writers bursting onto the scene, and K. Trap Jones is one of the leaders of the pack." ~ Edward Lee, author of Header
Fantastically warped and wonderfully twisted, John McNee is a writer with a towering imagination, and he knows how to use it."
~Victor Gischler, Edgar Award-nominated author of Gun Moneys and Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth.
"Nikki Noir is a sultry new voice in erotic horror, one you should watch as closely as a black widow in your bed sheets."~ Kristopher Triana, Splatterpunk award-winning author
Marketing Plan
Not all splatterpunk is created equal. Blood Bound Books feels that the three-book series they've curated is a fantastic representation of the genre.

A fun and gory splatterpunk collection. An anthology of horror stories that are a quick and fun read. Fans of the genre will find plenty to like here!
4 stars
I’m still new-ish to the splatter punk world. So seeing some familiar names here, helped ease some of my anxieties. I love everything I’ve read by Robert Essig, and this story was no different. He’s just a good and fun author to read overall. I liked seeing/reading some other names I’m familiar with, but was hesitant to read, Nikki Noir, awesome story, I’ve been so scared, but now I’ll definitely go buy some of your stuff!
Other names I didn’t even realize were in the splatter punk sphere, but did a really good job.
Overall, this was a fun book and I’m glad I was able to read it.
Blood Bound Books has recently become one of my favorite publishers. They are not afraid to cross the line and offend when needed.
This is a great collection to get a feel of what you'll get from Blood Bound.
Are you looking for something deeply disturbing and full of bodily fluids? Yes? Then this collection is the one for you. Looking for more authors to look into for splatter recommendations? This book has that too! Basically, if you’re like me, you’ll definitely love this selection of grossly grotesque short stories for the dark and demented! No dull ones but I am a huge fan of Nikki Noir and SC Mendez, so seeing their names was an instant need. Plus, the creator of Evil Cookie Press as an editor is an added bonus. Satisfied my craving for brutality so definitely look forward to the next collection!
