About the Author
As a young child Stacy Wells loved sweets of all kinds. As an adult her love of food expanded to tacos with spicy salsa and cheese. She, however, does not like raisins. Stacy is a member of the Choctaw Nation and lives in Texas with her family, which includes a red dog named Blu and two very mischievous ferrets.
About the Illustrator
Maria Gabriela Gama was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, a place that inspires her to create colorful worlds. With a degree in graphic design, she started a career in advertising, but she soon fell in love with the magical world of illustration. Maria wishes to bring joy, representation, and positive change through her cheerful characters and vibrant colors.
