Far in the reaches of space live the Iovans, an ancient and peaceful race. Their long lives and enduring health are fueled by an element they call utrium, which occurs naturally on their planet. Their world hurtles towards an impending apocalypse when the greedy over-mining and processing of utrium leads to a chain reaction that threatens to destroy their entire biosphere.

But one Iovan, Zea Handrad, has a plan. The bulk of the population will be placed in stasis around their damaged planet while small teams of soldiers, scientists, and engineers, collectively known as The Wanderers, search the stars for a new homeworld a planet with utrium present in sufficient quantities to meet their biological needs.

Our story follows Zea and a team of Wanderers as they brave uncharted space, desperately searching for a new home. But dangers such as unfathomable alien life, greedy pirates and warlords, and betrayal by trusted teammates all threaten to doom their mission to failure.
