I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the information in this book and feel that it is important for children to learn these things at a young age. The artwork was fantastic, as well, I just wish there had been more of it.
In my opinion, there is too much text on the pages for the target age group; some of it is repetitive, with children mimicking something that has just been said to them, and I would've liked to see the Spanish woven in without the constant, "How do you say this in Spanish?" or "This is how you say it in Spanish."
I will probably read this aloud to my class.
I loved this book! I found it to be a valuable educational tool on so many levels. It was thorough without being overwhelming, in terms of information pertaining to going green. I loved the bilingual material. The illustrations were vibrant and kid-friendly. Additionally, I loved the fact that the characters were diverse in appearance, which is the way the world looks. Excellent!
