Description
With loved ones exiled to memory, the three species were left with strained relations and an ever-growing hatred. For over a century, Humans, Vampires, and Lycans remained isolated from one another. Only the occasional meeting of the three leaders brought any sort of interaction between the species. That was, until one night...
With the horrors of her past descending upon her, Livia finds herself face-to-face with the castle of the vampire king, Orion. Despite the king's desire to rid his castle of this human intruder, something compels him to keep her close, no matter what. Unfortunately, whereas fate can bring two souls together, it can also force them apart, but a forbidden love will not be broken so easily.

I do enjoy a vampire book, so I was eager to give this book a go and I'm glad I did.
Livia is a human girl who is running from her past and the lycans and she stumbles upon Orion, the vampire king. As their relationship grows they face many trials for the other factions and from within. There are some rough scenes that may not be to every ones taste, but the author does give you a warning about this before the book begins.
It did feel like Livia was a eternal victim at one point, but she did learn to defend herself and I feel that all these characters have more story to tell.
Thank you for the Arc.
Vampire King's Consort is an enthralling journey through a world of forbidden love and deep-seated rivalries between humans, vampires, and lycans. The story follows Livia, a human whose troubled past brings her to the doorstep of the vampire king, Orion. Despite the barriers and his initial hostility, there’s an undeniable pull between them, igniting a romance that defies their divided world. I was completely swept up in the tension and chemistry between Livia and Orion, and I couldn’t put it down. The way the story unfolds keeps you turning the pages, rooting for love in a world stacked against it
Alright, this book is the rollercoaster romance I didn’t know I needed! Picture this: Livia’s dragging all her baggage up to the vampire king’s doorstep, and just when you think he’ll throw her out, he’s like, “Wait… maybe not.” The sparks between Livia and Orion are so good, and the whole humans-vampires-lycans feud? Makes it even juicier! If you love a bit of mystery, danger, and romance with a side of supernatural politics, Vampire King’s Consort is calling your name. 🦇
I really enjoyed reading this book, it had that vampire element that I was looking for from the description. The characters had that feel that worked in this type of book. It had that romance element that I wanted and was glad everything flowed in a great story. M.J. Sweets wrote this perfectly and am glad I got to read this.
There is a book call Bride by a trending author. It's has mixed reviews because it tried this plot and it's not great. However, this author executed this amazingly. The articulation, development, etc. all great.
Loved reading the mesmerizing and spellbinding romance story. When Livia is running away from the Lycans, King Orion, a powerful vampire, saves her life, brings her into his castle, and tries to ignore her. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read riveting love story by the phenomenal author, M. J. Sweets.
