5 Stars! What a way to end a trilogy! What follows is a romantic interlude that has the typical HEA and just enough spice mixed that it doesn’t make me blush.

Sexy! Knox and Clarissa just burnt the pages together. She's a very successful milliner, an illegitimate daughter of a peer. He is a broke Duke who has to marry for money but desperately wants to marry for love. He is smitten by her, enchanted by her, totally and irrevocably in love with her. She is very smart and will not let something like money get in the way of her keeping her Knox.

For a novella, this book delivered and then some. Loved it as always. An ardent Sumner fan!

Oh So Good! I was mulling over what I had just read to put into words what I could say about this book and then it came to me - it was electrifying! Yes, that and so much more too.

I loved Knox and Clarissa. Both are strong characters though when it came to her, he simply melted like butter.

As for the story, it is a very quick read but flows so easily and it kept me glued to the pages because I just had to find out what was going to happen and if there would indeed be a happy ever after.

This story is one which I could quite happily read again and again!

He had seen his two brothers marry for love, but the pressure was on Knox to marry to increase his coffers. But for Knox, he is so torn between needing to marry money & marry for love. He is in love with the shop owner Clarissa Marlowe - he has always taken care of those around him & has tried to do the right thing, but his love is strong for Clarissa. I loved Clarissa strength, wisdom, and coming up with a way to help both of them. I loved the ending and was so thrilled to see them receive the HEA they both deserved - excellent read!
